This next challenge will probably take much longer as it's not going to be possible to build up databases for it. I figure even if US members have to wait a few hours after school, it's really not going to be that big of a deal. Also, UK members had to wait about 12 hours to wake up so for US members to wait a few I think we can deal with that.

Some UK members stayed up to help their team out then got shafted. Might aswell have been asleep.
Wednesday if faaar away, this will take ages if there are such massive gaps between doing stuff. I'm easy about the time of the day though, whatever suits. ------------------- ![]()

quote Mocking AlvinKind of agreed there. :/ Since the challenge was so easily manipulated, the UK members didn't even need to stay up. It didn't matter what we did, because a member of our team was jut going to *bleep* us over anyway. Regardless, they had a database; any single one of them, regardless of location, could have put it together and got the same results. For this challenge, well, time+effort may actually be worth something. I think it should start where at least the majority of players are home. -------------------

re: Halo Social Survivor |
quote GlotnotWe had this database because we saw what was coming and prepared for it as a team. We planned ahead, nobody told us to make this database and the other team could have also prepared in this way. Since everyone was in a mad rush to get all the correct answers first though, it was all over before I even had a chance to look into it, if my help was needed. Which it obviously turned out it wasn't, but I think if the challenge involves a "race" to get answer in first, then it should be at a suitable time for everyone since it will possibly move quickly and end in a matter of house. That way we all at least have an equal chance to help out if the challenge moves very quickly and if the person wants to be online when it all happens. As for times, I presume everyone is back from school/Uni/work by about 5, or at least most people. So if we make it at a time which is on or after 5 (but not too late) in most places... that would be fine with me and probably okay for most other people too? ------------------- ![]()

Well, I've got the iPod Touch which lets you browse on a wireless connection. I believe the iPhones can browse from anywhere within their provider's network.
As for timezones, the one positive of being in Australia is when DP sets a deadline for midnight Friday, we get until 4:00PM Saturday. -------------------
