quote TurMoiL911He is. I'm trying to finish all of his published books. I'm reading Deception Point as of now. I own Angels and Demons, read The Da Vinci Code when I was like 11 and finished reading Digital Fortress like a month ago. I just wish he published more. I like his style of writing. I'm also trying to get into more Tom Clancy books. Trying to find some Splinter Cell books but the library doesn't have any. I absolutely love the video game series and would love to go beyond the games. ------------------- ![]()

quote The DonDeception Point was good too. Digital Fortress was alright. It got kind of long-winded in the end. I'm waiting for Solomon's Key to come out. He supposedly finished it already. ------------------- Tango Uniform Romeo Mike Oscar India Lima 9iner 1ne 1ne

I'm midway through Deception Point. When the President wanted Rachel to see something extraordinary in the Arctic, I thought it would be something... more exciting. -_-

I read more Genera work then writers, science fiction mostly, but I will read some authors more then others. Like Phillip K Dick, the guy who pretty much revolutionized science fiction with books like "The Man in the High Tower" "Do Androids dream of Electric Sheep?" "A Scanner Darkly" and treatments that became major movies "The Running Man" "Total Recall" and "Minority Report". But I also like to read stuff from the Cyberpunk Punk Genera like William Gibson's "Neuromancer" and I have been meaning to get a copy of "Snow Crash". I honestly think that everyone on here will enjoy "Neuromancer" just imagine Blade Runner when reading (Blade Runner was based off of "Do Androids"). I also read Steven King's Dark Tower, but have stalled on the 4th book.

I should read more often, but I don't. I have the time to read like two books a day and every time I do start a book I'll read half and then forget about it.

Novels are for stupid heads.
I read graphic novels and comic books, mainly those revolving around Batman. ------------------- ![]() Bruce Gradkowski's #1 Fan

I just finished Clinton' book today, My Life. It mostly ends with him leaving the presidency and devoting a few pages summing up his life and his commitment to improving the future for people around the world.
I think it's interesting that I finally read about his exit from office and finished the book just as I end my presidency on Neo, especially when last year I read Carl Bernstein's biography of Hillary Clinton as both she and I were running our own campaigns in different worlds. Clinton' book was one of the best I have ever read, 957 pages of wisdom and reminiscence about a life and struggle to bring about a greater America and a better world. ------------------- ![]() Former Rome

Green Eggs and Ham I also enjoy books from Clive Cussler, Dirk Pitt always seemed like an interesting character to me Tom Clancy I also enjoy, Patriot Games has got to be one of my favorite books and whoever mentioned Artemis Fowl, I'm compelled to pick up all 3 (or is it 4?) books of that series and reread them ------------------- According to the Craig's List rappers, a2 + b2 = DEZ NUTS BYOTCH

Hmm, I seem to have this book on my desk at the moment. A certain geek bought it for my birthday, haven't read it much though tbh. I just read The Importance Of Being Earnest and then stopped reading. Shall get around to reading another of the plays at some point in the next, year or so

I started another book today, called Peace, War, and Politics. To my surprise, it happens to be another autobiography, by Jack Anderson. He is an influential reporter, starting back in World War II. He has had a pretty neat life. Already, I have read how he infiltrated a polygamist sect (himself a Mormon) while writing for a local paper. He served in the war, though not in combat but with supply transport, and then he became a war correspondent with with guerrilla fighters in China (against Japan). While there, he met the future premier of Communist China, Chou En-lai. He was on good terms with them and even was given regular access to Chinese intelligence, which he was ordered to feed to the U.S. government (he was still in the service after the war).
After his service was done, he went to Washington and worked under the esteemed reporter Drew Pearson, a muckraker hated and feared by many politicians. He and Pearson helped to bring down Joseph McCarthy, by exposing his two young aids and how they were dodging the draft. He also went into Argentina and tracked down some runaway Nazis and even found the family of Adolf Eichmann, and Eichmann himself, before the Israelis swiped him to convict him for war crimes against the Jews. Anderson also believes that he knows the conspiracy behind John F. Kennedy's assassination, as he investigated it for years and found a link in the Mafia, who said that Castro hired the Mafia to kill Kennedy, after the CIA had tried to do the same thing but to Castro. Pretty interesting book. ------------------- ![]() Former Rome

I rarely ever read books. Unless you count mangas, then I read a shitload. Last book I started was "Wildfire" by Nelson DeMille. Although I was enjoying it, I just can't bring myself back to reading it. It's too damn long to keep my attention for that long lol.

Rome: That sounds like a pretty interesting biography.. I may have to take a look at it. I haven't read many biographies and I really should.
Right now Byzantine is actually having me read The Dark Tower series.. I am only on The Waste Lands (the second book) but they are pretty damn good so far. I am making him read Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins though.. so it's kinda fair in the end. Though I may have to make him read more since there are seven books in The Dark Tower series and I have only given him one book to read. ------------------- My mind is mine, much like a friend can be mine, but I still respect their privacy.
