As long as it is a separate playlist I don't really care. I know I probably will not be playing it.

I think this is a bigger deal rather than the dedicated servers.

This is indeed a shocker and as I mentioned in another thread we are going to just have to wait until this comes out and we can see how it plays out. In time we will know- passing judgments now will get us nowhere quickly.

I didn't watch the gameplay vid all the way through. Do they institute some kind of cover system in third person that isn't available in first? I think it'd be kind of silly to have a third person shooting game without some form of cover system like Gears, but maybe that's just me.

...No-scoping 3rd person snipers? This idea just popped in my head since one of my friends keeps talking about quick and no scoping in COD4. >_>

Only thing I find useful from this play mode is some type of 'create a movie' kind of thing (with possibly crap aiming)? But then that's what spectator view is for...And video isn't working so I'm just basing my opinion off of some comments and the title here.

Think Quake 3 Arena.

In that video, if you pause at 1:23 you can see crosshairs in the game, very clearly. Still, I would NEVER use this, and I really think this may be an IW test mode for them only, one of the rules for a 'great game' is to NEVER take you out of first person, so yeah.

Why would IW let test mode be playable in a retail copy? This is a mode, get it through your head, it even has a mode name along side the other playlist types
