I have pre ordered mine from play.com...but am hoping it comes the day b4 coz the Gamestation in my area is doing Midnite release?

Im undecided at the moment, couple of my mates are going to Asda at midnight whilst im thinking there could be major que's and i might miss out on it, ill probly decide in the next few days what im going to do, more than likely reserve at Blockies and grab at midnight.

Midnight releases are so much fun because it feels like you are the first person to touch the game- I will be driving to a local store called Meijer and picking it up the night of. It is funny because you can just walk in at 12:01 and pick it up because no one knows that the big retail stores do the midnight releases as well.
I used to do the Gamestop midnight releases, but those areas are pure pandemonium which I am getting too old to care about. I have gotten Halo 2, Halo 3, Gears of War 2, and Halo: ODST on release night. ------------------- quote Deeko quote Deeko | |

I canceled my pre-order because of the strikes, I'm picking it up the morning after at around 11:00, and then I'll play it that afternoon some time. If I got it at midnight I'd end up staying up just to play it.

I pre-ordered mine off Amazon. It was $66 total with "Day of" delivery. So I'll get it on Nov. 10. I only did this cuz someone posted a topic that you get $20 off your next videogame related purchase. So if I put that to good use, it's basically like I'm getting $20 off of MW2.

GAME have just e-mailed me and said they will be sending out MW2 using couriers so i might order it from them, but it's tempting to see if it is slightly cheaper on day of release at Tesco, Asda ect.

I preordered mine mainly due to the fact that i don't want to risk not having it on release day (as sad as it may sound). I know all super markets in my area will be packed with gamers. Last year i got the last copy of WAW. So i cant risk it this year. Play.com all the way. Hopefully postal strikes wont affect delivery
