Not surprising; I remember NHL 10 had a bunch of early copies. Now you have MW2, a game which is going to insanely popular, it will have a lot of early copies being sold.

There's not a lot of point to buying the game now, though. Of course there's the single-player, but unless you know somebody else that also got ahold of an early copy, you can't really do Special Ops. And there damn sure aren't a lot of people playing multiplayer.

Judging by plenty of gameplay videos and stuff that are surfacing all over the servers are up and running. The servers are probably running for the staff who have probably been playing the finished game for weeks.

They do stuff like promotions and that, or people that work for the company that makes it. Its like music albums, you often get a promo from a promotor or seomthing. I am guessing something similar must happen within the gaming industry too. But if someone will not reveal their sources then it suggests they are lying.
My guess? Someone somehow has put it up on piratebay or BTjunkie who work in the industry and he got it from there. | |

This is really taking the piss now. I want to buy the game on release day and be level with everyone else who bought it that day. Its unfair that some people can get it sooner for living in a certain place or placing a pre-order and having it dispatched early. I'm just hoping IW realise people have gotten it early and reset everyone to level 1 on release day.
