I don't know what game modes this pertains to but this is shit. Because a few hardcore people complained that people were telling their party where others were we can't party chat "Oh noes my precious K/D ratio! I must have a 3.0 or else mah life is rooined." Well hate to break it to you but the cheaters will probably just call their buddies on a real phone (maybe IW should disable any other electronics in your house or something...). This just ruins it for everyone else. I am always in a party chat because I don't want to talk to 12 year old wiggers screaming or 25 year old men who think they are some wise Jesus man. I mean I can't even be in a party with someone in a different game!? Yeah, IW wouldn't want me to tell my buddy playing NHL 10 that xxXxSnIPeL0rdxxxXX69x is camping on the roof, now would they.

Oh hell no.

Pretty sure it is also in Headquarters which was quite a popular game mode in CoD4.

HQ has the same delayed spawn so by IW's logic it should also be for HQ.

And unfortunately, by them doing this, it sets up a spot for people to complain and ask to bring it to every match with a delayed respawn. So SnD, HQ, Sabotage, and that is all I remember; haven't played CoD in ages.

That's dissapointing.

This makes sense surely the people complaining are the ones that do the ghosting this actually stops. I mean ghosting is a huge issue and it's a cheap tactic to win matches like this, you do a clan match for instance and if you are playing fairly and merely talking to one another but the other team is out in party chat telling them every persons location it a huge disadvantage. So boo *bleep*ing hoo to those who miss this feature, those that actually use it to ghost your cheating days are over.

It's not about muting it's about stopping cheating, party chat promotes cheating through people still being able to talk even after their character is dead and is spectating. As you may know in Search and Destroy mic talk is disabled for those that have died because they can see the locations of everyone still playing.

Did they somehow fix the headshots matches people where doing to boost?

Why don't they just black out the screen and let people still talk then?

A blacked out screen wouldn't make for much of a spectator mode would it?
