May CoD4 Rest in Peace... |
|
Considering MW2 is right around the corner, that means the death of CoD4 is imminent. It has brought us many hours (or days) of joy. But it time is over. A new era is upon us, an era of great prosperity. I laid CoD4 to rest last night. It was a sad, but necessary step for the health of my gaming future.. I made sure my last game was a good, satisfying game, and it was. I destroyed a bunch of M16 grenade whore n00bs on Countdown to win the game & went 26-10. I'm content with that final, glorious memory of CoD4, content indeed... Farewell CoD4, and may you rest in peace... This message was edited by vX Iceman Xv on Nov 09 2009. -------------------

Played my last game today on Ambush (HC Headquarters) went 63-13. Not bad for my first match in 2 months.

Hah, the people who won't have MW2 for a while will still be playing COD4, and it'll still be a very busy game, for a long time.
But for the people who do get MW2, yes, rest in peace. I'm hanging my CD on a wall, to remind me while I play MW2, of the game that brought us all happiness

quote DeekoYeah true. I've been holding off playing CoD4 lately so I enjoy MW2 a lot more. I just hope it lives up to it's expectations. It looks like it will, but still has some flaws - like all games do. ------------------- ![]()

quote vX Iceman Xv Only minor flaws of course - like a few weapons/perks being way over powered. And it's inevitable that people will find glitches and what not, just as they did in CoD4. It's looking like a really fun game though! Edit: Just noticed there is no Juggernaut in this game.. amirite? That's awesome. ------------------- ![]()

Haha, CoD4's far from over. I'll wait 'till Christmas for all the 12 year olds to finally get MW2 then start playing CoD4 again. Less n00bs.

I never really liked cod 4 online but I have played it from time to time. Deeko was exactly right about gears 2 but I hope that mw2 wont go the same way.

My last game(s) will be today. Probably have a few fun games of Domination with friends or maybe get a sniper lobby going. RIP Call of Duty 4.
