i'm really hoping to see new units...
i would also like to see combat with NPC marines/firebats on your side going into a full out skirmish with opposing forces... that would be f*ckin sweet!!! as for the vehicles, i was really hoping that they would put in a goliath you could pilot.... man that would be so nice... and as for my ideas, what about sequels or other 3rd person games for the series... just imagine StarCraft: Dark Templar or even... In Ghost you will be able to switch to FPS view. And although alot of it will be like Splinter Cell, I think it will also be a lot diferent and more original in a few ways. I'm pretty sure Sam Fischer never had an enormous hydralisk run him down while spraying spines everywhere.
We all know that Ghost will feature some basic game varients (deathmatch, CTF, etc.) as well as the new capture the factory game. But what about some other multiplayer game types? There must be loads that haven't been done before. And yes vehicles have been confermed. Vehicles include: the Vulture, Seige Tank, Grizzly, Stinger, and possibly the Goliath and/or SCV. I haven't seen anything about a Wraith though. Well anyway, I had an idea for a multiplayer variant. How about a more co-op oriented one in which you and your team have a few minutes to prepare the defenses inside a Terran base. Then you and your other friends in multiplayer must hold out as long as you can against endless waves of Zerg attackers. Complete with zerglings, hydralisks, overlords, and even mutalisks and ultralisks maybe later on. Each player has only one life, and the game ends when all the players have died and the base has been overrun. There might need to be a designated area where you can get more ammo, maybe there would be caches of ammo inside bunkers? Winners are determined by who held out the longest, got the most kills, had the best accuracy, etc. I think this would be an awesome variant and it also would feel a lot like the Starcraft that we've seen before. The only problem that I can see is getting enough Zerg on screen at the same time, it might be stressing on the game engine.
