ever since i heard there would be a so called Starcraft 2 i had wondered if they were going to finally reveal the Xel'Naga, like more backhistory of them and what they look like and all.

do you think this will be the case in Ghost? any ideas?

(in case you didnt know, the Xel'Naga is an ancient race who created the Protoss and Zerg, then went into hiding, and hardly anything is known about them)

I really don't think there will be any thing to do with the Xel'Naga in ghost.If they do put anything about them, it would more likely be a mission to get a artifact or data about them. If they decide to do Starcraft 2 (I consider this starcraft 1.5) they will more likely include them as a either a playable race or a side race. In ghost they'll probably have some thing to do with the Zerg/Protoss hybrids that Duran made. i just hope they finally explain what the hell Duran is. (play the hidden protoss mission to see what I mean) but we wont find out until they relase the game.

xel naga didn't go into hiding. they were destroyed by the zerg. i hope nothing of xel naga is revealed in this game. that would make it more probable that blizzard IS plannig to make starcraft 2 which would be awesomeness to the extreme

They WILL do StarCraft 2, it's just a matter of time. As for the Xel'Naga, I wouldn't want them to be a playable race - if they can create the zerg and protoss - and that temple which wipes out so many of the zerg, they'd be far too powerful as a playable race...

I don't remember anything that said the zerg had destroyed the Xel'Naga, though it's been a while since I last played.

I guess I'll have to get my copy out again.

I think they mentioned something about the zerg fighting the Xel'Naga in the manual. I believe its when they talk about the history of the zerg. Not to sure though, I havnt touched the game in about a year.

ive played that one hidden mission so many times, and it confused me for a while, but i think the protoss/zerg hybrids are supposed to be just like the Xel'Naga

The storyline will involve how ghosts are being turned into inhuman killing machines through modification, and how the main character uncovers information on it, as well as an important secret.
