Title, what is you're favorite anime moment?
I got this idea after watching a Bleach episode, where Orihime and Claude talk about what Sado and Nova would converse about, then you see Sado and Nova crossing the road, look at eachother, and continue walking. then in the screen it says "Failed attempt at conversation" I really found that moment funny Well, anyway, start posting  -------------------

Although not quite an in-anime moment, this is still an anime moment in it's way. Last summer when my friend was visiting, I opened up R.O.D The TV and looked at DVD 1's insert which was Nenene standing backwards while looking with her hand in her back pocket I think it was. I was looking at it for a few seconds and then my nose started to bleed, it was just like an anime moment, my friend and I had a good laugh after that.

In Samurai Champloo when Mugen gave some thugs 10 seconds to go get help. He counted each second by breaking some guys finger.

Mine is definitely in the second chapter of 5 centimeters per second, "Cosmonaut," when Kanae finally manages to remain on her surf board. That was a beautiful scene.
A close second would be the twelfth episode of Air TV, when Sora (the crow) does his final lines: quote Sora the crowDon't ask why I have that memorized... I really don't know how that happened. All I know is, it's among my favorite scenes in anime.  ------------------- | |

Mine would have to be... Well, it's a tie. Both from Seirei no Moribito. And they're spoileriffic. ... Not like anyone actually watched it past episode 3. I swear, those fights...
The first of which is when child-Balsa attracts too much attention for Jiguro's liking. She's just re-enacted a battle from before, and she's proud of herself. Smiling when Jiguro walks up to her, she's completely shocked when he bitchslaps her.  The main one is towards the end of the last episode. Jin stops Balsa, Tanda and Torogai at the main gates as they attempt to leave the palace, saying that commoners may not pass through. Mon tells them to take the path to the left. Doing so, they see Chagum, carrying Balsa's spear, and Shuga. Chagum, the pervy pre-teen male that he is, buries his face in Balsa's bewbs and begs for her to take him with her. She almost cries... Then poses the somewhat inappropriate question "Will you run away with me?" She seems to forget that he's only, like, 12. That's not cool.  She pulls away and takes her spear, asking if he wants her to shake things up a little bit. After affirming nods from Torogai and Tanda, he accepts his responsibilities as Crown Prince and declines. Shuga, thinking Balsa was gonna kick his ass again, is relieved. Chagum, being the smartmouth that he is, insists she save it for another child - maybe the child that she and Tanda will have together. Chagum says he will return to the palace, and both parties leave in their opposite directions. Chagum stops them, and tells Balsa to call him by his name, to say "Goodbye, Chagum." She does so, and they continue on. It's the most depressing thing that could happen, and at the same time, it's the absolute best thing that could happen. -------------------  How to snag a lady: With sleepy drink. | |
