Ring of Honor Goes National!
Secures Prime Time TV Slot! Drastic Roster Shake-Ups! Backstory: After ROH debuted in the PPV realm with Respect is Earned, interest exploded. They quickly secured themeselves a prime time slot on television which will be known as Honor, and show on Thursday's, opposite TNA Impact. As a result of the move to television, there were several drastic roster shake-ups. First and foremost, all Japanese talent was pulled. Most importantly, ROH World Champion, Takeshi Morishima, along with other major names such as KENTA and Naomichi Marufuji. As a result the ROH World Title will be up for grabs on the first episode of Honor. On a positive note, Ring of Honor was provided with a generous budget, allowing them to dip into both TNA and WWE's talent pools to bolster their roster.

Honor
We are welcomed by the announcing duo of Dave Prazak and Jimmy Bauer welcoming us to the first ever episode of Honor. Match: 2 vs. 2 Up in Smoke vs. Old School Throwback A nice hot opener that focuses on a simple story of Cheech and Cloudy playing to the crowd for pops and getting the bejesus beat out of them by the two larger wrestlers, Adam Pearce and Erick Stevens. The finish comes when Cheech lands a Shooting Star Press on Erick Stevens to get the 3 count. After the match Cheech and Cloudy climb the turnbuckles celebrating their victory on the first match on the first episode of Honor!! Pearce and Stevens look at each other and attack the two victors. Stevens nails Cloudy with a Doctor Bomb and Adam Pearce hits a Jumping Piledriver on Cheech. Rating: 68& Match: 1 vs. 1 Doug Williams vs. Brent Albright Williams tries to start the match off with a little bit of matwork, but Albright puts a quick stop to that with a nasty German Suplex that drops Doug on his head. Albright continues to brutalize Williams with suplexes and slams. Digging deep, Williams cries for the crowds support and begins to mount a comeback. Just as Doug Williams goes for the Chaos Theory, Albright cinches in the Crowbar and Williams is forced to tap. Rating: 66% Match: 2 vs. 2 vs. 2 vs. 2 Elimination The Resilience vs. Emolition vs. No Remorse Corps vs. Stampede Bulldogs This bout features the underlings of the four previous members of Generation Next. Each of the members have taken these young tag teams under their wings after the stable split. During the match Matt Cross hits a Shooting Star Press to the outside on a crowd of wrestlers and Paul Burchill nails a C4 on Tyler Black for the 3 count. However, before Burchill could recover, Cross had topped to the Top Rope Armbar by Romero. This left Rocky Romero and Davey Richards facing off against Harry Smith and TJ Wilson. The No Remorse Corps managed to maintain control through underhanded tactics until Smith his a Running Powerslam on Richards and Wilson held back Romero. Rating: 64% Match: 1 vs. 1 Fight Without Honor Necro Butcher vs. BJ Whitmer This bout revisits a feud dating back to the ROH vs. CZW feud that helped define Ring of Honor as a wrestling promotion. Before the bell even rang both wrestlers were swinging barbed wire covered fists at each other. Within seconds both wrestlers were split open and spraying blood. The crowd thought Whitmer had it won after a Top Rope Powerbomb to a guardrail set up between the ring and another rail. Somehow Necro managed to kick out at 2.9999 shocking everyone. Whitmer reaches over the ropes to drag Necro back in by his thinning, uncombed hobo hair but Necro slips some barbed wire around BJ's throat and drapes him over the ropes. Necro uses this time to set up two chairs back to back in the middle of the ring and lifts up Whitmer, hitting a powerbomb on the backs of the chairs for the 3 count. Medics come down and put Whitmer on a gurney. Rating: 69% Match: 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 - Winner becomes No. 1 Contender for Pure Title. Claudio Castognoli vs. Chris Hero vs. Jerry Lynn vs. James Gibson A fast paced bout that took to the mat and the air. Claudio and Hero go right at it, there's still some bad blood from their recent split as a tag team. While they battle outside the ring Gibson manages to hit an Inverted Gut Buster on Lynn and locks on the Modified Dragon Sleeper... Lynn's out cold. Rating: 69% Match: 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 Delirious vs. Mike Quackenbush vs. Matt Sydal Delirious starts the match off with his usual antics, going crazy as the bell rings. Quackenbush laughs and eggs him on, chanting "bah bah bah bah" with the crowd. Sydal however has enough of it and stops him dead with a left hand. Quackenbush jumps in and takes the fight to Sydal, Delirious joins in and soon it's 2 on 1. After a double team arm drag that sent Sydal over the ropes and into the first few rows of chairs, Quackenbush and Delirious had a stare off. After an even exchange, Quackenbush nails the Quackendriver 2 on Delirious and covers... 1... 2... NO!! Sydal breaks up the pin with a Shooting Star Press of the top rope. Sydal grabs Quackenbush and sends him over the top rope and looks to finish his long time foe, Delirious. Delirious blocks a suplex attempt and nails the Chemical Imbalance #2 on Sydal for the 3 count. Rating: 66% Match: 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 Generation Next Grudge Match Austin Aries vs. Alex Shelley vs. Jack Evans vs. Roderick Strong This match has been in the making for months as former stablemates split apart and went their separate ways. It's obvious all ties are off from the start as Aries nails Evans with a hard forearm shot and Strong drops Shelley with a Backbreaker. At one point Aries and Strong tease an alliance hinting to their tag team run that put the ROH Tag Titles on the map, but Strong stops it in it's tracks with a sick Yakuza Kick. Shelley takes this opportunity to hit a Sliced Bread #2 on Strong and covered him, but Roderick got his foot on the ropes!! Frustrated Shelley kicks Roderick under the ropes and dumps a charging Evans to the outside. Left with just Aries he goes for a schoolboy, grabbing a handful of tights to score a dirty win. Shelley celebrates as he hurries down the entrance ramp, hoping to get out of here as quickly as he can. Rating: 74% Interview Austin Aries is still in the ring and gets on a mic. "Alex you son of a bitch!! You get your ass back out to the ring now! I proved I was better than you when I took over Generation Next and made it mean something, and I'll do it when I beat your ass!!" Shelley never shows up and Aries leaves the ring pissed Rating: 64% Match: 1 vs. 1 ROH Pure Title Match Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness A nearly nonstop display of mat-wrestling at it's absolute finest to start this match off. The two wrestlers seemed evenly matched for the start of the match but Danielson slowly seemed to be gaining the upperhand with his submissions, causing Nigel to use two of his ropebreaks. Deciding to change strategy, Nigel turns Danielson inside out with a vicious clothesline. Nigel drags Danielson next to the ropes and applies a Boston Crab, causing Danielson to use a rope break. Danielson struggles to his feet and ducks a Jawbreaker Lariat. Nigel rebounds off the ropes and goes for a second but this time Danielson's ready. Danielson hook's Nigel's arm and drags him to the ground. He then starts just feeding Nigel vicious MMA-style elbows to the face. Bryan throws a limp McGuinness to the mat and locks in Cattle Mutilation. McGuinness has no choice but to tap. After the match Danielson offered McGuinness his hand to help him up but Nigel spits out a mouthful of blood on his hand. Danielson stomps Nigel's face in. Rating: 83% Match: 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 ROH World Title Samoa Joe vs. Rhino vs. AJ Styles All three former TNA stars went right at it, showing they could wrestle more than a 5 minute filler match in TNA. Joe and Rhino end up in a slugfest while AJ sits to the outside, watching the other two go at it. They eventually realize what AJ's doing and team up against him. Both nail several signature moves including a Piledriver by Rhino and an Island Driver by Joe. Joe goes for the cover by Rhino kicks him in the head. Joe's in the corner and Rhino charges in for the Gore but Joe lifts him with one arm and slams Rhino down to the mat. AJ attacks Joe from behind but this just angers the Samoan Submission Machine. Joe drags Styles to the outside and hits the Ole Kick in all four corners, the crowd is going crazy at this point. Just as Joe turns to get back into the ring Rhino comes flying through the rope taking the two out!!!! Back in the ring, Joe whips Rhino into the corner, gets him up, and nails the Muscle Buster for the 3 count! First Two-Time ROH World Champion Samoa Joe!!! Rating: 80% Match: 2 vs. 2 vs. 2 vs. 2 ROH World Tag Title TLC Match The Briscoe Brothers vs. The Rottweilers vs. Hooliganz vs. Steenerico A match that made the original TLC lineups pitting the Hardy Boyz against E&C and the Dudley's look like Public Broadcast Television. Kendrick takes El Generico out of the match by hitting a Sliced Bread #2 off a ladder on the floor. Steen came from behind and nailed a Package Piledriver on the cement floor on Kendrick. As he turns back to the ring, London hits a Shooting Star Press off the top rope onto him. Just The Rottweilers and The Briscoes are in the ring and they're just trading stiff punches. Mark hits a Cut-Throat Driver on Homicide on a ladder. The Briscoes climb up two ladders set up in the ring and hit a Spike Jay Driller off the two ladders in the ring on Low Ki, Jay climbs the ladder and grabs the belts! Rating: 78% Overall: 71% Quick Results Up in Smoke over Old School Throwback Brent Albright over Doug Williams The Resilience over No Remorse Corps, Emolition, Stampede Bulldogs Necro Butcher over BJ Whitmer James Gibson over Chris Hero, Claudio Castognoli, Jerry Lynn Delirious over Matt Sydal, Mike Quackenbush Alex Shelley over Austin Aries, Jack Evans, Roderick Strong Bryan Danielson over Nigel McGuinness Samoa Joe over AJ Styles, Rhino Briscoes over Rottweilers, Hooliganz, Steenerico This message was edited by Mr Fner on Sep 22 2007.

i'm going to have to apologize to all one of my readers here haha. i thought going at it again would keep my interest but the fact is i enjoy booking the shows much more than writing them out haha. that said i would like to post my roster i've ended up with now in my game just because i'm having so much fun with it. Guess I'll respond to this diary. Truth be told, I'm not a fan of this diary. It just feels like you took some of ROH and TNA and combined them and have no real knowledge of how ROH works. This ROH you use is a sel-out ROH as it's all about national deals and just a bunch of stuff ROH is not.

Unfortunatley, I'm gonna have to agree with Dash, it just doesn't feel like ROH.
