I like how you can edit everything while playing the game and it's not technically cheating like Arsenic was, because its all included in the game. It sure if helpful when a contract is running out and the person is pissed at me for yelling at them for being a drugie.

All right, I'm in all likelihood getting the game tommorrow, so I was thinking of downloading the demo to get a feel for it, but not if the only thing I can play is CornellVerse. So my question is, can you use other scenarios on the demo?

Yeah, I'm using a 2002 scenario on my demo.

CornellVerse isn't even worth playing anymore since they got rid of DaVE.

I'm gonna buy the game tomorrow but i'm wondering how you pay it via paypal.

You can't buy it directly from GreyDog using paypal, however, if you sign up to the forums you can get in touch with Arlie Rahn [the owner of the site] or Adam Ryland through their accounts or via email, and they should let you pay them via paypal and buy the game for you, and then send you the license.

What do you actually say to them though?

Say that you would like to purchase TEW08 but don't have a credit card, and then ask if it is possible to purchase the game via paypal. Eithr they will tell you about a new way to purchase the game [since I bought it a while ago] or they will offer to buy it for you, if you pay them directly via paypal.

Thanks for your help and i've now. How do i implement the real world database into the game is it just putting a folder into a section or what?

First, download the data you want to use; there are a few around on the GDS forum, but I can find one for you if you haven't got one already.

Then, open the game, click "Editor" then click "Create Database". Enter a name for it, like "Real World" and press create.

Quit the game and navigate to C: -> Program Files -> GDS -> TEW2008 -> Data -> Real World [or whatever you called the database]

Once there, copy all the files from the data you downloaded into that folder and overwrite the old files. Open the game, switch to the right database and you should have the data you downloaded.
