As disappointing as it is to say because it makes the community look pretty shitty, I think it could partially be down to the fact you're new. If you double that up with the fact you're using characters nobody really knows, it makes it difficult for some people to get into the diary.

That said, I've barely had time for the EWR forum the last few days and have only comented on about 2 diaries when I have had time to have a look, so I'll go check out your diary now.

Personally, I like to read stuff that are familiar to me. Characters that I know nothing about kinda turns me off.

But I've learned to never judge a book by its cover, so I'll check your diary out too.

See, I assumed (correctly) that it'd be mostly due to the fact that they're made up. In turn, I've started writing promo posts to give you guys -- the readers -- an idea of the characters and even added pic likenesses for further emphasis. I didn't want to post 55 promos or even bios... yet... because that would just be overburdening and tedious.

Also, I've noticed that a lot (but not all) of the match write-ups in the threads are much shorter than mine. ProtoWolf pointed out that it could be more harm than good, but I find it to yet again give the readers somewhat of a better idea behind the names.
