I just do it when I start to work out my diary. I treat it like a painting, I need a canvas for it..

The rule was brought in to encourage people to think about what they're doing more and possibly plan things - enticing them to stick with a diary. As opposed to making a thread, banging up some rosters and losing interest.

I'm just trying to think of ways to get people to stick with diaries without being over-bearing and limiting them to one diary a month or other such unfavourable conditions.

Riiiight, I'm gonna go ahead and do Diary Of The Month from now on. There'll be a few changes, Killer iPod mentioned a new format that I think will work better.

Basically on the first of each month, I'll go back over the previous month and just pick out the 5-7 strongest diaries. That way it won't be as tedious to go back and find every diary with a show that month etc, etc.

So I'll just pick 5-7 diaries - you vote for your top 3. Simple.

Probably give you about 5-7 days to vote as well. I would appreciate it if people could find the time to vote as it really rewards the creators of each diary and helps the community as a whole.
