 The Road to the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania World Wrestling Entertainment is perhaps heading to it’s greatest event in it’s history, the 25th anniversary of Wrestlemania. With the Royal Rumble happening last night and the road to Wrestlemania well underway many changes have been made… The ECW brand was officially scrapped with the wrestlers going to either brand or being dropped down to FCW. ECW veteran Tommy Dreamer was released, after agreeing to leave after discussions with management. Teddy Long becomes Raw general manager. Also in a shock announcement, WWE scrapped the women’s division, releasing the majority of divas. Many believe the decision to drop ECW was because of the sharp fall in ratings and the credit crunch, there were rumours that ECW could re-surface in a year or so but WWE were quick to dismiss claims. It is still unclear however why the women’s division was scrapped but some of the divas have been kept under contract to be used in other ways. One thing for sure though, is that the you don't want to miss a second of the action on the way to the grandaddy of them all, Wrestlemania. RAW 1 - John Cena vs. Christian Unsure about this one, but I'm going to go with the champ. Santino Marella vs. William Regal Time for Marella to really begin doing something. Kofi Kingston vs. Mike Knox I've never really been a big fan of Mike Knox and struggle to see you put him over a former Intercontinental Champ. ECW Champion Jack Swagger Makes an announcement Uh... cool.  It looks alright so far, but I think one thing you need to do is expand on things. For example, a bit of detail on the preview wouldn't have gone amiss; you should at least added the stipulations for the matches. I think also some things need to be added to the roster. I think you should have any manages on there, as well as any tag teams and stables. I think it would be good if we also knew what divas had been kept on too. So yeah, good start overall, just follow a few of the points above. | |
