(c) Randy Orton (w/ Ric Flair) vs. Rob Van Dam

This was a great back and forth match. RVD dominated the early part of the match with his swift kicks. RVD hit a samoan drop followed by the Rolling Thunder. RVD then went to the top and went for a Five Star Frog Splash, but Flair rolled Orton out of the way. The referee noticed and tossed Flair to the back. Orton argued with the referee but couldn't get the referee to change his mind so Orton began to kick RVD repeatedly. Orton then picks RVD up and began to hit some stiff european uppercuts. Orton then hits a back body drop. Orton began to work over the neck of RVD's and locked in a sleeper hold.

RVD fought to his feet and kicked Orton in the face. RVD then hit a spring board plancha on Orton to get a nearfall. RVD then went to the top rope and hit a side kick off the top rope onto Orton! RVD then climbed to the top rope and went for the Five Star Frog Splash and HIT IT! RVD rolls around the ring holding his ribs, and begins to crawl at Orton's fallen body. RVD is about to cover Orton, but then Batista runs out and yanks RVD out of the ring and nails him with a Spine Buster on the outside to DQ Orton.
winner: Rob Van Dam via DQ at 9:15

after the match, Batista picks up RVD and tosses him into the ring. Orton slowly gets to his feet and begins to stomp on RVD. Batista then goes for the Batista Bomb, but then Booker T runs out with a chair and chases off Evolution. Booker T then gets on the microphone and challenges Orton and Batista to a tag team match for tonight and they accept.

Royal Rumble Qualifier:
Rhyno vs. Tajiri

We see a video package of last week where Tajiri and Rhyno lost to La' Resistance and Rhyno snapped and Gored Tajiri several times.

Rhyno dominated almost the entire match by hitting a clothesline on Tajiri then went to the top rope and went for Double Stomp, but Tajiri moved out of the way. Tajiri then hit a kick to the gut of Rhyno's then in the back of his head. Tajiri then went for a tornado DDT, but Rhyno blocked it and tossed Tajiri into the middle of the ring. Rhyno went for the Gore, but ran into a kick straight to the face. Tajiri covers Rhyno and gets a nearfall. Tajiri then goes for the Buzzsaw Kick, but Rhyno ducks and GORES Tajiri and pins him to get the win.
winner: Rhyno at 5:23

After the match, Rhyno grabs the microphone and says at the Royal Rumble he is going to kill 29 other men with the Gore, Gore, GORE!

Royal Rumble Qualifier:
Tommy Dreamer vs. Christian

This was a pretty good match for how short it was. Christian jumps Dreamer before the bell and stomps on Dreamer. Christian hit a reverse DDT for a nearfall. Dreamer began to fight back with right hands. Dreamer hit a twisting clothesline to take down Christian for a nearfall. Dreamer then goes for the Dreamer DDT, but Christian blocks it and pushes Dreamer into the ropes and hits a dropkick. Christian covers Dreamer but only gets a two. Christian goes for the Unpretier, but Dreamer counters that into a Death Valley Driver! Dreamer covers Christian but only gets a two. Dreamer climbs to the top rope, but Tomko pushes him off as Christian holds onto the referee's pant leg. Christian then gets up and hits Dreamer with an Unpretier for the three!
winner: Christian at 6:48

After the match Christian celebrates the victory with Tomko as they both walk up the ramp.

Tag Team match:
Evolution (Batista and Randy Orton) vs. Booker T and Rob Van Dam

Great tag team action here. Booker dominated Orton at the beginning. Booker went for Scissors Kick, but when he ran the ropes Batista yanked him out of the ring and clotheslined him to the floor. Then we headed to a commercial break. When we returned Batista had Booker in a bear hug and Booker fought out of it and hit a spin kick to Batista. Booker then tagged in RVD and Batista tagged in Orton. RVD took it Orton and hit him with a Rolling Thunder then hit a split legged moonsault on Orton and Batista broke the pin. RVD then kicked Batista to the floor. Orton then turned RVD around and went for an RKO but RVD countered it into a german suplex. RVD climbed to the top rope, and Booker tagged himself in right before Batista pushed RVD off the top rope. Booker went in and went for a Scissors Kick on Orton, but Orton dodged it went for the RKO, Booker countered it and pushed Orton into the ropes and kicked Orton in the gut and hit him with a Scissors Kick in the back of Orton's head and got the three count.
winner: Booker T and Rob Van Dam at 14:54

After the match Booker celebrated along with RVD as Batista threw a fit as Orton laid in the ring not moving.

Royal Rumble Qualifier:
Maven vs. Ric Flair

We see clips of two weeks ago when it was Flair and Batista vs. Maven and Booker T and Maven got Flair in a school boy and got the win.

This was a rather short match. Flair dominated Maven's knee but Maven threw everything he had at Flair hitting him with a drop kick, two suplex's, and cross body all for nearfalls. The finish came when Maven went to the top rope but Flair grabbed Maven's hurt leg and yanked him off and locked in the Figure Four to submit Maven.
winner: Ric Flair at 6:06

After the match Flair celebrated as Maven rolled around the ring holding his leg and Flair continued to stomp on Maven's hurt leg before walking to the back.

Winner Faces Triple H at the Royal Rumble:
Chris Jericho vs. Goldberg vs. Shawn Michaels

Great Main Event, Jericho went to the outside right as the bell sounded and let Goldberg and HBK duke it out. HBK went for the Sweet Chin Music early, but Goldberg dodged it and Speared HBK! Jericho ran in and attacked Goldberg from behind. And kicked HBK out of the ring. Jericho hit a missile drop kick, a bull dog, and a lionsault all for a nearfall on Goldberg. Jericho went to the top rope again, and went for a cross body, but Goldberg caught him in mid air and slammed Jericho to the canvas. Goldberg then went for a Spear on Jericho, and ran at him but out of nowhere got hit with Sweet Chin Music!

HBK turned around and got locked in the Walls of Jericho and HBK forced himself out of it and him and Jericho knock eachother down with a double clothesline! And we head to a commercial break. When we return Jericho hits Goldberg with a step up enziguere and gets a two count. HBK then hits an atomic drop on Jericho followed by a body slam then climbs to the top rope and hits his elbow drop onto Jericho! HBK covers Jericho but Goldberg breaks the pin. HBK and Goldberg have a slug fest, and out of nowhere Y2J hits Goldberg with the Code Breaker! Shawn then counters a Bull Dog attempt and hits Y2J with Sweet Chin Music. Then Christian yanks HBK out of the ring and the two begin to brawl. Jericho gets up and smiles and turns around into a SPEAR! Goldberg then picks Jericho's lifeless body up and hits the Jack Hammer for the three count.
winner: Goldberg at 16:21

After the match Goldberg smiles at the camera and says "Hunter, YOU'RE NEXT"! And we cut to the back where Triple H and Evolution are throwing a fit. Then we cut to HBK and Christian brawling outside the building, with HBK dominating Christian, but then Tomko kicks HBK in the face with a Big Boot! Then him and Christian jump in a car and flee the scene.

Royal Rumble Qualifier:
Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle

This was a technical classic between two of the best in WWE. Early on Benoit hit a snap suplex for a two. Benoit then went for a German, but Angle blocked it and hit a hard back elbow followed by a belly to belly suplex. Angle and Benoit then traded chops and they knocked eachother down with a clothesline on one another. Then Brock Lesnar along with Paul Heyman come out and stand watching the match up the ramp as we head to a commercial break.

When we return Benoit hits two german suplex's in a row on Angle, then climbs to the top rope and goes for the Diving Headbutt but Angle moves out of the way. Angle then goes for Angle Slam, but Benoit counters it and goes to lock in the Crippler Crossface, but Angle rolls through it and locks Angle in the Ankle Lock! Benoit gets to the ropes rather quickly. Angle then calls for the finish and goes for the Angle Slam again, but Benoit blocks it and hits a snap suplex on Angle. Benoit then climbs to the top rope, and Angle runs up looking for a belly to belly off the top rope, but Benoit knocks Angle down and hits a Diving Headbutt! Benoit covers Angle and gets the 1...2...KICK OUT!!!

Benoit goes to lock in the Crippler Cross Face, but Angle rolls through and gets Benoit in a pinning situation and gets the three count!
winner: Kurt Angle at 18:54

After the match, Angle celebrates as Benoit gets up and argues with the referee. Angle offers Benoit a handshake and Benoit with a look of disappointment shakes Angle's hand. Heyman then smiles and takes a microphone...

Paul Heyman: Congratulations, Mr. Angle. But for you Mr. Benoit, your shot at getting another title shot at the WrestleMania has come to an end.

Lesnar breaks down in laughter, and walks to the back along with Heyman.

The Basham Brothers (Doug and Danny Basham) vs. The APA (Farooq and Bradshaw)

This was a rather boring match. APA dominated the Basham's early on with their power moves. Bradshaw hits Danny with a Fall Away Slam! Bradshaw then goes for the Clothesline From Hell, but Doug pulls Danny out of the ring and then they spin around and Danny enters again! Farooq then pulls Danny out of the ring thinking it's Doug and they switched and tosses Doug in the ring. Doug plays dead, and Bradshaw goes to pick him up and Doug gets Bradshaw in a school boy and gets the three count!
winner: The Basham Brothers at 7:22

After the match, the Basham's run up the ramp as the APA look disappointed as they were just outsmarted by the Basham's. And it's official next week, The Basham's will face the Tag Team champions, Eddie and Chavo Guerrero next week on SmackDown!

FBI (Nunzio and Johnny Stambolli) vs. The Los' Guerrero's (Eddie and Chavo Guerrero)

This was basically a squash match. Eddie and Chavo basically dominated the FBI the entire match. But Stambolli did hit Chavo with a huge clothesline, but that was the only offense they were able to get. Eddie hit Nunzio with the Three Amigo's and finished off Nunzio with the Frog Splash for the victory.
winner: Los' Guerreros at 6:06

After the match Eddie and Chavo celebrate the win. But then the Basham Brothers attack Eddie and Chavo from behind. But then Rey Mysterio and Billy Kidman come running to the ring and chase off the Basham's. They help up the Guerrero's and they Heyman shows up on the tron. Heyman says he's happy Rey and Billy are in the ring because they will be having a match right now in a Royal Rumble Qualifier.

Rey Mysterio vs. Billy Kidman

This was an awesome cruiserweight style match. Kidman caught Rey in mid air with a drop kick to the gut. Kidman hit a spring board leg drop on Rey followed that for a two count. Kidman then climbs to the top rope, but Rey climbs up and hits a frankensteiner on Kidman! Rey covers Billy but only gets a two count. Rey then dropkicks Kidman into the ropes and goes for the 619 and hits it! Then the Big Show comes running out and yanks Mysterio off the apron and takes Rey's head off with a right hand punch. Big Show then gets in the ring and Choke Slam's Kidman.
winner: No Contest at 8:56

After the match, Big Show poses to the crowd as they boo him. Heyman shows up on the tron and says that is what Kidman and Mysterio get for interrupting business that isn't theirs. Kanyon and O' Haire jump Cena before the bell and Kanyon starts off with Cena. Kanyon hits a back breaker followed up with a fist drop off the second rope. Cena then hits a flying shoulder block on Kanyon followed up with a spinning power bomb! Cena goes for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle, but O' Haire kicks Cena in the lower back. Sean runs in and hits a Flatliner on Cena. O' Haire then picks up Cena and hits a brain buster for a two count. O' Haire and Kanyon then hit a double side russian leg sweep for a nearfall. Kanyon then misses a clothesline on Cena and knocks O' Haire down. Cena then hits clothesline on Kanyon, then tosses O' Haire out of the ring. Cena turns around and Kanyon hits a Boot to his face. Kanyon turns at O' Haire and yells at him as O' Haire seems to be walking away. O' Haire just keeps saying it's Kanyon's punishment for his wrong deeds. Kanyon turns around and gets hit with the FU from Cena and gets the three count!

After the match Cena celebrates, he grabs the microphone and says he's not waiting for the Royal Rumble to get his hands on the Big Show, he's going to get himself a piece of Big Show RIGHT NOW! Cena then runs to the back.

Luther Reigns (w/ Paul Heyman) vs. Chris Benoit

Benoit enters the ring and hits a trio of germans on Reigns! Benoit then goes to lock in the Crippler, but Morgan gets out of it and hits a huge clothesline on Benoit. Luther then hits two side walk slams on Benoit and only gets a two count. Reigns then calls for the finish and goes for a suplex type move, but Benoit blocks it hits a couple chops, then runs the ropes but runs into a boot to the face! Reigns covers Benoit and only gets a two count. Luther Reigns then picks up Benoit and whips him into a corner. Luther runs at Benoit looking for a splash, but Benoit moves and Luther runs into the corner. Benoit then hits three german suplex's then climbs to the top rope and hits the Diving Headbutt! Benoit covers Reigns and gets the 1...2...Hayman yanks the referee out of the ring. Benoit gets up and pulls Heyman onto the apron and punches him to the floor. The referee checks on Heyman, and Benoit turns around into a Bossman Slam from Luther Reigns. Then Kurt Angle enters the ring with a chair and cracks Luther over the skull with a chair! Angle runs out of the ring. Anf Benoit hits the Diving Headbutt on Luther again and pins him to get a three count!
winner: Chris Benoit at 9:00

After the match, Benoit celebrates the victory and Lesnar comes down looking pissed and tries to enter the ring but Benoit picks up the chair and Angle left in the ring and threatens to hit Lesnar if he comes in the ring. And Benoit wails on Luther Reigns as the show comes to a close.

This was a very good match. RVD and Y2J kicked things off and RVD got the better of the two but Jericho got his knees up on the Rolling Thunder. Which allowed Christian to tag himself in and work over RVD's back. Christian hit plenty of back breakers followed up with a elbow drop off the top rope. RVD out of nowhere was able to catch Christian with an enziguere kick to the face and make the hot tag to Booker T! Booker hit a leg lariat on Christian. Then hits Jericho with the Book End! Christian then blind sides Booker with a drop kick. Christian goes for the Unpretier, but Booker pushes Christian into the ropes and goes for the Book End, but Christian counters it into a DDT! RVD gets in and Y2J blind tags himself in and RVD cross bodies himself and Christian to the outside. Jericho then goes for the Code Breaker on Booker, but Booker counters it into a spine buster and hits the Scissors Kick and pins Jericho to get the shocking three count!
winner: Booker T and Rob Van Dam at 9:50

After the match Booker and RVD celebrate, until Christian attacks them from behind. Jericho then gets up and joins in on the attack on Booker and RVD. But then Shawn Michaels comes running to the ring and chases Christian and Jericho to the back.

Kane vs. Rhino

This was nothing more than a brawl over the place. Kane quickly clotheslines Rhino out of the ring. And the two trade punches around the ring, and Kane catches Rhino with an upper cut. Kane lifts Rhino onto his shoulders, Rhino elbows free and pushes Kane into the steel ring post. Rhino then hits Kane with a GORE on the outside. Rhino then slowly picks Kane up and slides him into the ring and pins him to get a two count. Rhino then argues with the referee, and goes outside the ring and grabs a steel chair and goes in the ring. He runs at Kane and Kane boots the chair into Rhino's face. Kane then finishes Rhino off with the Choke Slam and gets the three count!
winner: Kane at 7:06

After the match Kane raises his arms and drops them as fire shoots up from the turnbuckles.

Shawn Michaels vs. Batista

Great match, HBK took it to Batista with a flying forearm strike on Batista. Batista then countered the Sweet Chin Music into a Spear! Batista then misses a clothesline in the corner and HBK catches Batista with an enziguere! HBK then hits an atomic drop, followed by a body slam. HBK then climbs to the top rope and hits a flying elbow drop for a nearfall. HBK then goes for the Sweet Chin Music again, but then Jericho runs in and gets the super kick right away. HBK then turns around into a spine buster from Batista! Batista covers HBK but only gets a two count. Batista goes for the Batista Bomb, but HBK counters it and hits Batista with Sweet Chin Music. The referee tends to Jericho, as Christian gets in the ring and hits HBK with a steel chair. Christian rolls out of the ring, and Batista finishes off HBK with the Batista Bomb for the win!
winner: Batista at 12:54

After the match Batista walks to the back. As Christian picks up HBK and slaps him, and HBK fires back with a right hand and the two brawl to the back again.
