Funaki vs Akio
Smackdown! will start with a bang in a non title match between Cruiserweight Champion Funaki and the always dangerous Akio, With neither man wanting to suffer a loss this match will be an intense encounter, Espeically for Akio, Who could find himself in a Cruiserweight Title oppotunity if he can pin the champ.
Charlie Haas vs Rob Van Dam
Charlie Haas is recently coming off a split up with Miss Jackie and has not been the same in recent weeks, The young mans anger may just erupt thought tonight when he steps into the ring with Rob Van Dam with a possible U.S. Title shot possibly up for grabs for the winner!
Rene Dupree vs Rey Mysterio
Also on tonight's Smackdown! we will get to see The French Pheonom, Rene Dupree take on the always unpredictable Rey Mysterio, Will The French Phenom claim it's first victim tonight on Smackdown!?
The Undertaker vs JBL
The main event of Smackdown! is sure to be a hellfire one as The Undertaker and JBL step into the ring in a rematch from No Mercy this time JBL will not have The Cabinet alliance to protect him from the wrath of The Phenom. Will JBL find some way of nailing the final nail in The Unertaker's coffin?

Smackdown! kicks off with Michael Cole and Tazz introducing the show,
They run through the matches for tonight before Funaki's music blasts through the
areana.
Funaki vs Akio
quoteFunaki enters the areana first, Wearing his Cruiserweight championship belt to a good
pop. Next out is Akio, The crowd give him mixed reactions on his way down to the ring.
Both men lock up with Funaki going for a quick roll up but Akio is to smart for it and
quickly kicks out, They tie up again and Akio sends the cruiserweight champion to the mat with
an armdrag, Funaki looks suprised and ducks a wild right before connecting with a crossbody
followed by an elbow drop for 1...2....kickout! Akio fights back in the corner and hits a
springboard clothesline for 1...2...kickout by Funaki! Akio connects with a standing moonsault
before 'cutting his throat' signalling the end is near as he heads up to the top rope for
his Corkscrew 450 splash, As Akio positions himself for the corkscrew 450 Funaki quickly
jumps up to his feet and dropkicks Akio off his balance, Funaki heads up to the top now
and comes off the top with a spinning tornado DDT for the 1...2....3!
After the match Funaki celebrates with his cruiserweight title. Rating: 67%
The cameras show a video of Paul London, The ending shows "London's
bride is about to come crashing back to Smackdown! hyping his return to the ring coming soon!
Rating: 49%

Rene: Tonight, You all get to witness the demiss of Rey Mysterio,
As tonight, He becomes The French Phenoms first victim, And once i have destroyed him, I shall
move onto my next victim until i claim what i want, The WWE title, And i will enjoy destroying
this entire roster, And maybe there's a little piece of me, That will....love it.... Rating: 70%
Rob Van Dam vs Charlie Haas
quoteRVD enters first to a big pop from the crowd, He high fives some members of the
crowd before doing the "RVD" finger taunt on the turnbuckles as Charlie Haas' music
kicks in. Haas comes out to the ring to mixed reactions after the way he treated Miss Jackie,
Haas flips himself into the ring and prepares for the match.
Haas and Van Dam lock up with Haas showing some strength and fury by powering RVD into
the corner before pounding on Mr Thursday Night, RVD ducks a big right and shoulders
Haas twice before backfliping out of the corner but Haas counters his attempts by coming
out with a clothesline for 1...2...kickout! RVD get's picked up and get's dropped to the mat
with a swinger bomb for another 2, Haas goes up top for a clothesline but RVD manages to kick
him on the top rope to slow him down, Both men now on the top rope begin battling it
out with RVD gaining control with a kick before slamming Haas to the mat with a devastating
Sambo Suplex! RVD heads back up top and looks around before crashing onto Haas'
gut with the five star frog splash for the academic 1....2....3!
After the match RVD celebrates with the fans as a furious Haas heads back to the locker room. Rating: 76%

Josh: John, Tonight your in a rematch with The Phenom The Undertaker,
The last time you met him in the ring you won by interfearance from Heidenreich, Do
you think you will be able to defeat the phenom alone this time around?
JBL: First off kid, Here's twenty dollars so you can go and get some
good clothing, Now as for The Undertaker, Yes Heidenreich did interfere in our last match
but what you need to know is i never asked him to, He did it on his own free will and i'm
fine with that if that's what he wants to do, But i can assure you Josh that the Taker
will be going under to my Clothesline From Hell. Rating: 70%

before seeing one with a french logo saying "The French Phenom Rene Dupree" on it,
She smiles before opening the door and closing it behind her. Rating: 65%
Rey Mysterio vs Rene Dupree
quoteRey comes out first to his usual cheers as he high fives some of the fans before rolling
into the ring and posing on the turnbuckles. Dupree arrives late and has to run into the
ring to avoid being counted out.
Mysterio toe holds a running Dupree straight away and connects with the 619 early
before quickly hitting the West Coast Pop for the 1...2....3!
After the match Dupree hits the Dupree Driver on a celebrating Mysterio in what could
be the quickest match ever! Rating: 73%

Josh Matthews is stood with Kurt Angle.
Josh: Kurt, I've asked you here today for this interview because going
around the lockerooms at the moment is a strong rumor that yourself, John Cena and
Eddie Guerrero will be involved in a triple threat match next week on Smackdown! to decide
who will battle JBL at Judgement Day for the WWE championship, Can you enlighten this
any further?
Kurt: Well Josh, Your "rumors" are no longer rumors as the match
has been officially written down for next weeks Smackdown's! main event match, Now
Josh before you ask me how i'm going to win this match against two other superstars, Let me
tell you how i will win, It'll be through Intensity, Integrity and Intelligance which will
force one of either John Cena or Eddie Guerrero to tap out! quoteAfter Angle has gone JBL and his Cabinet walk by "The One And Only".
JBl: I apoligise for being a little late on my Cabinet's behalf.
Josh: Uhh....What are you all late for?
JBL: Haha! This guy's the one and only isn't he? [Cabinet smiles and nod]
Were here for the interview about how were all going to kick The Undertaker's graveyard
covered ass!
Josh: Umm....Well sorry Mr. Layfield but you were not scheduled for another
interview.
JBL: What!? This is absoulutely outragous! You will regret messing with
me!
JBL points at Matthews and The Basham's attack him taking him down with the Ball And Gag,
Soon after JBL clotheslines him to the floor before proudly walking off. Rating: 83%
John Bradshaw Layfield vs The Undertaker
quoteJBL comes out first still angry at "The One And Only's" disgraceful antics earlier to
major heat from the crowd. Next out is The Undertaker, Who walks down the ramp before
removing his hat and coat, Preparing himself for battle to a huge pop from the crowd.
JBL turns away at the start before cathcing Taker with a right hand, Taker feels no effect
and continuaslly pounds JBL in the corner, Taker clotheslines JBL in the corner before
slamming him to the mat with a tilt a whirl sideslam and a legdrop for 1..2...kickout!
JBL staggers to the corner and begins to mount some offect and hits a suplex for 1..2..kickout!
JBLcontinues the assault in the corner with some kicks to the gut before Taker counters
and goes Old School on JBL but JBL counters it into a modifed powerbomb for 1..2...kickout!
JBL get's ready for the clothesline from hell but as he charges Taker ducks and JBL knocks
out the referee, JBL turns around and walks right into The Tombstone from The Undertaker!
Taker covers JBL but there's no ref to count the fall, Taker get;s up to revive the ref when
out of nowhere Rene Dupree attacks Taker from behind! Dupree get's the upperhand with a
low blow before slamming Taker to the mat with The Dupree Driver! Dupree revives the ref
as JBL slowly get's up as is The Undertaker, JBL with a last ditch effort charges at Taker
and connects with a big time Clothesline From Hell for the 1...2....3!!
After the match Dupree raises JBL's hand in a sign of victory before the two shake hands,
Showing their teamwork has worked. Rating: 79%

Velocity will never be the same again after tonights programming!
As John Cena speaks about his upcoming match with Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle,
Rene Dupree will speak on his attack on The Undertaker, Carlito returns to the ring against Shannon Moore,
Funaki and Akio will re-match from Smackdown! and RVD and Rey Mysterio team up against
the team of Charlie Haas and Billy Kidman!

Tonight on HEAT, The Masterpiece, Chris Masters debuts against WWE vetran Val Venis. Muhammed Hussan and Khosrow Daivari will make an appearance on HEAT as Hassan battles The Hurricane. New tag team Jon Cutler and Shawn Houston debut tonight also against new star Chris Raine and Garrison Cade. In the main event of HEAT Intercontinental ChampionShelton Benjamin will battle Simon Dean in a non-title match.
