	Righto, I have an idea. The long and short of it is something similar to the WWF vs. WCW Monday Night Wars, but in the modern era: WWE vs. TNA. The actual show writeups and whatnot would begin in January 2008 (game time, for the "special" amongst us), but there's something I've been wondering about: How to deal with the backstory. I have two options in mind: Have a brief backstory in the first post, outlining what happened between present day and the January 2008 starting point. Do a more detailed, progressive backstory, beginning in present day, with monthly updates outlining what goes on in the wrestling world (small feud summaries, PPV results, hirings, firings, TV deals and so on) in the months building up to my starting point, to explain how the war got so serious (because at present, TNA isn't a threat to WWE, whereas in my game, it will have developed into one). I'd post each monthly update in a seperate post, leaving room for comments and so on in between, rather than one mammoth chunk that I'm sure nobody would read. So, I'm looking for opinions on what sort of backstory I should go for. A one-off, straight-to-the-point simple one with a lot of explanation lacking but allowing me to get right into the shows, or a more drawn-out one showing how things came togther.

	Hmm... interesting conundrum you have there, Shape. Both going short and going long have their upsides and downsides. Personally, I'd go with a long drawn-out version but that would mean a lot more work for you. ------------------- Pro Wrestling Apocalypse - Crippler's Newest EWR Diary

	I don't mind the workload, because it'd be spread over a longer period of time. I'm just wondering which idea people would take to, and whether they'd be interested in the more detailed buildup.

	I have 3 ideas, I'd appreciate nobody to steal them without me coming to a decision first. Idea A: All of the deceased wrestlers in one federation, a fantasy diary which can obviously not come true. Idea B: Two completely different companies against eachother (possibly a duel). eg, 2000 ECW Vs TNA today. Idea C: The legends of back then against the superstars of today. Thoughts?

	Not a big fan of the first one... Not sure why, just doesn't appeal to me much. I think the second one is the favourite for me. It would just be a generally good idea. Be interesting to see which of the 'second tier' federations would win. The third one is a close second though. It would be good to see all of the old timey superstars against the new, and if it was in two different corperations, could be another good reason for a duel. ------------------- TWG

	The "afterlife federation" seems silly and disrespectful. I mean, how would you hire more workers? Kill them off? The second and third ideas sound really good, however, and I would definitely be interested in seeing one of them as a diary.

	I'm totally out of ideas, especially since my three way duel as been crowded with problems exc. I'm looking for some creative ideas, that I could possibly use. Ideas have run out and I need some help, please if you have an original and creative idea please send me a pm or post in here.

	That's too overdone imo. everyone is doing ECW at the moment. Iggie, you could perhaps do a two company one from a different era? A few people are doing attitude or late eighties early nineties, why not give a WWF Vs WCW diary a try? If not do something completly original, and make your own company. A few people have done this, but you know it will never be the same due to it all being down to you. Maybe again, doing an era one would pay off, and do a new company coming up on the big three in 96 or 97.

	I had an idea for a McMahon .v. McMahon .v. McMahon .v. McMahon Diary, but didn't know how to work it out. Maski suggested WWE .v. WCW .v. ECW .v. TNA, but having Linda for TNA seemed a bit weird to me. Another idea was an ECW of today .v. ECW of yesterday. What do you guys think?
