![]() Heat (2/11/2007): 1. Wrong Priorities Bryan Danielson and Matt Hardy are shown backstage. They talk about how CM Punk has his priorities all wrong. Matt says that Punk doesn't seem to understand that it isn't in his character to let another wrestler just get beaten down in the ring and not stop it. If he doesn't like that, then he's not going to make many friends in the WWE. Danielson wraps up the promo by saying that it doesn't matter who Punk has allied with because, whoever it is, has no honor if he's siding with Punk and those without honor cannot defeat the American Dragon. 2. Kane vs. William Regal A surprisingly good match with Regal getting in the standard heelish offense while Kane does his usual warpath. However, despite Regal's attempts at cheating, Kane was able to pick up the win after a chokeslam. Winner: Kane 3. Tag Confrontation The Kings of Wrestling are talking backstage about how they beatdown The Hooliganz last Friday. They joke around a bit, mocking the number one contenders when London and Kendrick themselves walk in and immediately get into Castagnoli and Hero's faces. The two teams start yelling at each other but are eventually broken up when Hero's music plays and he has to head to the ring. 4. Chris Hero vs. Charlie Haas A good match between two halves of two of the best tag teams in the WWE. Both Haas and Hero came to the ring with their partners. While Castagnoli attempted to help Hero cheat, Benjamin was always their to stop him. The end of the match came when Charlie Haas locked Chris Hero into the Haas of Pain. Hero struggled to get out but it was only a matter of time before he started tapping. However, Castagnoli had already hopped onto the ring apron and started distracting the referee. Haas broke the hold and came over to talk to the referee. Just as Haas and the ref walked over to him, Hero suddenly rolled up Haas with a handful of tights. The referee made the three count and The Kings of Wrestling quickly leave the ring as Shelton Benjamin rolls into the ring to reassure his partner. Winner: Chris Hero 5. Preparations CM Punk is walking backstage when he comes to someone's dressing room. He knocks on the door before yelling that it's Punk and he wants to talk about their match tonight. He then enters the room as a clock above the door oddly reads 25:29. 6. Rey Mysterio vs. ????? Rey Mysterio is in the ring waiting for his opponent when foreign music plays. The fans recognize the music but can't quite put the song to the face until Muhammed Hassan and Daivari appear at the top of the ring ramp and immediately pick up massive heat. This match was decent but it was completely in favor of Hassan the entire time, ending when he hit the Reverse STO and locked in the Camel Clutch. Even after Mysterio tapped out, Hassan continued the hold but he is eventually forced to release it by the referee. Mysterio falls limp as Hassan signals for a microphone. Winner: Muhammed Hassan 7. A Second Chance Taking the microphone from a stage hand, Muhammed Hassan starts talking about how two years ago he was forced out of the WWE just because of his religion. However, JBL has given him a second chance, mostly in an attempt to tap into the Arab-American market. He goes on to say that Mysterio is just the first man to fall in his crusade to have his people's voices heard. Daivari finishes by shouting in a foreign language before the pair exit the ring. 8. Bryan Danielson and Matt Hardy vs. CM Punk and ????? Danielson and Hardy come out first, followed by CM Punk. "Sincerely, Ichabod" then plays and Punk grins wickedly as Paul Burchill enters the ring. An absolutely great match between four of the rising starts of the WWE. With both teams getting in tons of offense and the match going for nearly fifteen minutes, this match did a good job in getting both teams over with the crowd. However, neither team was able to pick up the win in this match after Kane suddenly ran in mid-match and grabbed Paul Burchill by the throat. The referee called for the bell while Danielson shook his head at Kane, lipped something about honor, and tried to take the monster down with a clothesline. However, Kane just dropped Burchill and grabbed the American Dragon instead. Matt Hardy jumps over the ropes to try and help his partner but is grabbed as well. Paul Burchill suddenly rolls back into the ring with a steel chair in hand. He rushes Kane but is met with a big boot into the chair, sending it into his face. Kane then chokeslams both Bryan Danielson and Matt Hardy. While all of this is going on, CM Punk has already exited the ring and is heading up the ramp. He surveys the carnage Kane has caused just to get to Paul Burchill as Sunday Night Heat ends. Winner: Draw Quick Results 1. Kane defeats William Regal 2. Chris Hero defeats Charlie Haas 3. Muhammed Hassan debuts and defeats Rey Mysterio 4. Danielson/Hardy and Punk/Burchill draw after Kane interferes and destroys nearly everyone This message was edited by thecrippler on Dec 22 2006.

I'm glad you didn't have Regal completely squashed, both men came out of that looking pretty good.
The Kings of Wrestling are becoming a great heel tag team, I'd like to see them face Haas and Benjamin for the titles, maybe a triple threat tag match with London and Kendrick involved too. I'm sure there's some explanation but I don't get the "25:29" bit in the Punk segment? Hassan debuting is good to see, even if the show header did kind of spoil it. With mystery partner matches like the main event, it's best to describe the entrances rather than randomly reveal the partner is Burchill half way through the match. And I don't like the way Kane took out all those superior workers, hopefully they get revenge. On to the NRU... Shame about London demanding a push, what I'd do in that situation is give him the push he wants but use him how I want. That way, everyone's happy. See, JBL is a genius. Yes yes yes yes to the brand split, it'd benefit everyone in terms of airtime. You could probably scrap Heat if you had a brand split and still push everyone the way they deserved. I'd like either Cena or Taker to turn heel, preferably Cena as I'd find that more interesting as it hasn't been done in real life. Carlito for the cruiser belt? I'm sure he's too heavy (and far too good). And I'd prefer Helms higher up the card than that. quote

As a way to try and open a better line of dialog between myself and my readers, I'm going to respond to the feedback I've gotten. First off, looking over the polls, three things immediately jump out at me. The first is that everyone is worried (using the word lightly) about the London and Daivari situations. Second is that bringing in another brand split is insanely popular. Finally, I have conflicting feedback on the Michaels/Triple H feud. Shape says it's boring, Filter says its the feud he's most watching. I find all of this very interesting and I'll keep all three bits in mind. Finally, to the biggest bit of feedback, Shape's post! quote The ShapeI'm glad you like the KoW push. I am planning on a program with WGTT eventually but I want to continue their feud with The Hooliganz for awhile. quote The ShapeWell, consider this. Clocks have been mentioned in each of the other shows for this past in-game week. There is a purpose to these mentions that should become clear once the next RAW is posted. quote The ShapeWell, I had to choose between delaying the new banner until next week or putting it up and spoiling the match. I figured I'd rather put up the banner rather than have to come up with an excuse for not finishing my trivesta of new graphics. quote The ShapeThanks a TON for pointing out the lack of an entrance. I never meant to skip over it and I have now fixed it. As for Kane, I have some plans in store for the big guy, mostly involving putting over young talent. quote The ShapeI would push him but I don't want him in the upper-midcard scene quite yet. I do have plans for London but I don't think he's ready to get past the midcard at the moment. quote

You may as well use Heat as a 'development' show, with no storylines just pure wrestling.

quote FilterI'm going to try and use Heat as both a way to get people over as well as a way to continue midcard storylines like Punk/Danielson and Kane/Burchill. I'm thinking I'll go more for the format of the first Heat show where the first half of the show is to develop unused talent and the second half to continue feuds. The last Heat didn't follow this principle since all it did was continue feuds and debut Muhammed Hassan. I didn't really like the show while I was typing it but I had already simulated it, so I had to work with what I did. Anyways, RAW preview will be up early tomorrow morning and the actual RAW show will probably be up on Christmas day. This diary will not stop for anything, not even Santa Clause

quote FilterBut of course! I've already got RAW three-quarters of the way done and I'll have it completed by the end of today. Then, all I'll have to do is swing on here and drop the post into the slot. After that, the rest of the day is devoted to family and presents!

![]() No Holds Barred February 12th, 2007 The Dragon Takes On A Monster Last Sunday night, during the main event tag team match between the team of Bryan Danielson and Matt Hardy against CM Punk and his mystery partner, Paul Burchill. This match never truly ended after the interference of the monster, Kane. Trying to attack Paul Burchill, Kane also took down Matt Hardy and Bryan Danielson in the process. The Cruiserweight champion immediately requested this match and was granted it. Can Danielson overcome his greatest challenge yet or will he be chokeslammed into oblivion? Any Man, Woman, Or Child Chris Benoit has changed ever since the beginning of the new year. He has attacked random wrestlers backstage, assaulted on of his best friends, and has becomed nearly arrogant in his abilities. This Monday, to kick of RAW, Benoit will finally get the answer to his open challenge. Who will accept the challenge? Will they be able to defeat Benoit in a non-title match? Does this have anything to do with the odd clocks seen backstage that seem to be ticking down to the exact opening moment of RAW? Find out this Monday night. No DQ, No Count Out For over the past week, Rated R-KO has teamed back up to try and defeat John Cena and The Undertaker. They have tried to interfere in their matches but their attempts has failed. This past Friday, they were involved in a tag team match against Cena and Taker but they ended up running, causing a count out. However, WWE General Manager John Bradshaw Layfield immediately appeared onscreen, told of Randy Orton and Edge for running away from a match the fans paid and tuned in to see, and scheduled a No Hold Barred match for this edition of RAW between the two teams. Will Cena and Taker continue to put aside their differences to face Rated R-KO or will Orton and Edge attempt to the play the pair against each other? Scheduled Matches Non-Title Open Challenge Chris Benoit vs. ????? Singles Match Muhammed Hassan vs. Matt Hardy Tag Team Match The Hooliganz vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team Singles Match Kane vs. Bryan Danielson Tag Team Match Rated R-KO vs. John Cena and The Undertaker
