![]() RAW (2/19/2007): 1. The Main Event Is Made RAW opens with John Bradshaw Layfield in his office. The WWE General Manager talks about all the matches coming up at No Way Out but then goes on to say that a main event still hasn't been officially booked. That is why he is announcing that the main event on Sunday will be John Cena and The Undertaker against Rated R-KO in a Tornado Tag match. JBL finishes by saying that both teams have the night off in order to prepare for the show on Sunday. 2. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Paul London A brilliant match from two halves of the feuding tag teams of The Hooliganz and The Kings of Wrestling. Chris Hero was constantly trying to interfere and help his partner but he was often thwarted by London's partner, Brian Kendrick. Eventually, Paul London knocked Castagnoli down and climbed the top turnbuckle. Hero jumped onto the ring apron to try and push him down but he is pulled down by Brian Kendrick. London flashes a thumbs up in Kendrick's direction before hitting a 450 Splash on Castagnoli to get the win. Winner: Paul London 3. Rey Mysterio vs. Finlay An interesting clash of styles between the brawling Irishman and the high-flying Latino. Both men came off very strong in this match with Mysterio taking control early in the match only to be grounded by Finlay half way through the match. Finlay kept control all the way to the end of the match but then Mysterio began to rally back. Thinking quickly, Finlay "accidentally" shoved Mysterio into the referee. With the official temporarily stunned, Finlay grabbed his shellaglah and went to hit Mysterio. However, Mysterio ducked the weapon, tripped Finlay in a manner that sent him between the ropes, and then hit the 619. The referee, recovered from his blow, made the three count and Mysterio won the match. Winner: Rey Mysterio 4. Defending America Rey Mysterio begins celebrating his win when foreign music begins to play and Muhammed Hassan, with Daivari, makes his way to the top of the ring ramp. Hassan questions Mysterio on why he stopped him from beating down Venis. Hassan's logic is that Mysterio himself is a minority so surely he must realize the racism that is abundent in America today. Mysterio grabs a mic and retorts that he made his name in America and would never go on the record as calling the country racist. Hassan gets mad and begins ranting when Mysterio interrupts him and says that if he wants to prove a point then get in the ring with him. Shaking his head, Hassan tells him that he's not up for that at the moment but if Mysterio wants a match, he'll have to beat Daivari on Smackdown. If Mysterio wins, Hassan will take him on at No Way Out. Mysterio agrees, Daivari rants in a foreign tongue, and RAW cuts to commercial. 5. CM Punk vs. Eugene A good match but very one-sided. CM Punk took control of the bout from the very beginning and was able to keep his momentum all the way until the end. However, that was when Eugene began to make a comeback and Punk had to go on the defensive. Despite Eugene's attempt to fight back, CM Punk still picked up the win after ducking a blow and then rolling his opponent up with a handful of tights. Winner: CM Punk 6. Not The Villain Shawn Michaels is sitting in a darkened room, much like the one Triple H was in last Friday on Smackdown. Michaels begins talking about how Triple H is trying to make him look like the bad guy but everyone knows the truth. He says that the truth is that if he wouldn't have attacked first, it would have been a mere matter of time before Triple H's ego got the better of him and it would have been HBK who was laid out. It's happened to him, to Randy Orton, and to anyone else who Hunter decided was no longer needed. With this in mind, Michaels continues, The Heartbreak Kid decided to strike first and repay "The King of Kings" for all the times he has betrayed someone else. This Sunday, he'll finish what he started and Triple H won't know what hit him. 7. Booker T vs. Kane A good match between two of the top upper-midcarders currently in the WWE. Booker T played up the standard, cowardly heel while Kane did what he did best and that's being a monster. Although his opponent put up a good fight, it was only a matter of time before Kane hit a chokeslam and got the pinfall. Winner: Kane 8. So Close... "Sincerely, Ichabod" begins to play and Paul Burchill runs down to the ring as Kane gets ready for a fight. However, the second that Paul Burchill had made his way out from backstage, a pack of security guards were following and as soon as Burchill got into the ring, both himself and Kane were swarmed by security. Both men tried to break through the pack of guards but were unable to. Burchill even grabbed a guard as if to give him a C-4 but he was quickly grabbed by three other guards and was forced to release the man. Eventually both men are taken out of the ring and are escorted to the back. 9. Chris Benoit vs. Rob Van Dam An absolutely amazing match that blew many in the crowd away. Both men hit their signature spots throughout the match and ended up coming off very strong. RVD eventually hit a spin kick to the back of Benoit's head, knocking him to the ground. Van Dam then climbed the turnbuckle and lept off to attempt a Five-Star Frog Splash. However, Benoit rolled out of the way at the last second before grabbing RVD's arm and locking him into the Crippler Crossface. Van Dam struggled to get out of the hold but it was only a matter of time before he tapped out. Winner: Chris Benoit 10. Studying Tapes John Cena is backstage when he walks up to a door that has a nameplate that simply says "Taker". He knocks before opening the door and entering the room. Undertaker is inside watching a television when he glances up at Cena. He mutters a greeting before watching what we can now see is a taped copy of Edge and Orton's recent matches. Cena notices this and tells The Undertaker that he'll have his back at No Way Out for their match with Rated R-KO. Taker basically blows off Cena, telling him that's fine. Cena shrugs before walking out of his Wrestlemania opponent's locker room. 11. Triple H vs. Umaga Umaga has been on a bit of a losing streak as of late which is seriously hurting his credability. However, Triple H is easily one of the most over men in the company as he gets a huge pop for his entrance. While Umaga tried his best to out-power Hunter, the former D-X member eventually gained control of the match. At one point, Triple H attempted a cover only to have Armando Alejandro Estrada hit the referee over the back of the head with a box of Cuban cigars. Triple H walked over to try and attack Estrada when he is turned around from behind and given an inverted atomic drop by his nemesis, Shawn Michaels. Michaels goes for the Sweet Chin Music but Triple H dodges under it and hits a spinebuster. Out of nowhere, Umaga rushes in and hits the Samoan Spike on Triple H. A new referee runs to the ring and makes the three count, giving Umaga his first win in quite some time. As Umaga celebrates, Shawn Michaels picks Triple H up and sets him up for a Pedigree. However, HHH is able to counter the move by sending Michaels flying over his shoulders. Triple H then grabs Michaels, knees him in the head, and then does what Michaels attempted and sucessfully hits the Pedigree. Triple H stands triumphant over his opponent, although holding his neck after the Samoan Spike, as RAW ends. Winner: Umaga Quick Results 1. Paul London defeated Claudio Castagnoli 2. Rey Mysterio defeated Finlay 3. CM Punk defeated Eugene 4. Kane defeated Booker T 5. Chris Benoit defeated Rob Van Dam 6. Umaga defeated Triple H via interference from Shawn Michaels

Good show, Crippler, although how can Triple H recover so quick after getting a Samaon Spike? Still the ending was good, with Triple H winning and both men are down.
And, damn, really wanted RVD to win. I guess your really a Benoit fan. I don't seem to enjoy the Kane - Burchill feud, maybe because there isn't much spark, in other words promos, of fire explosions, traps, etc.. Hassan seem to be impressive on challenging Mysterio, although they are both non American lol. I guess it could work! 8/10. ~ filter ------------------- Read my EWR diary, WWE: Taken Over Listen to Weird Al Yankovic's new single, Ebay. Apology is the superglue of life. quoteDude, we're talking about Triple H. He stood up because of backstage politics quoteDon't worry, Benoit/Jericho has only just begun. I've got big plans for both men so no worries there. Also, about RVD, he'll have his chance to shine again here soon. quoteWell, I'm trying to keep Burchill away from the promos in order to keep his "I don't care, I just kick ass" character that way. He's more of a "yes, no, destroy" kind of guy than a promo cutter. Despite that, this feud will NOT end at No Way Out. In fact, its just starting to heat up. quoteMy basic idea here is that, while both aren't your average, Caucasian American, Hassan only sees racism in America while Mysterio sees opportunity. However, don't expect this battle to last very long. Thanks for the feedback, filter. I'm glad I've held your interest so far. It seems like the EWR forum has had a bit of a drop in traffic lately but it's good to know I have at least two or three (you, static_puzzle, 4191mfc) consistent feedbackers.

Nice show there Crippler. I agree with BTH, your diary is awesome and I'll try to give feedback to it from now on^^. I like the Mysterio/Hassan feud and overall the feuds are pretty up to scratch. Although I do reckon CM Punk could be playing someone better than Eugene. Im not really a fan of Eugene mind...

Thanks Believe The Hype and NyffTotal90 for the feedback! Its nice to see some new readers commenting in here and I hope I can hold your interest.
Also, Nyff, CM Punk is currently feuding with Bryan Danielson over the Cruiserweight title. I just "fed" him Eugene on RAW in order to give him someone to squash.

![]() To No Way Out February 23, 2007 Return of the Highlight Reel Chris Jericho made his return to a WWE ring just last week when he answered Chris Benoit's open challenge. This Friday on Smackdown, Jericho brings back one of the greatest talk shows of all time, the Highlight Reel. His first guest since returning to the WWE will be none other than Triple H. What will Triple H have to say? Will Benoit or Shawn Michaels get involved in any way? Challenge Ever since Muhammed Hassan returned to the WWE, he has been rubbing many people the wrong way. Rey Mysterio was the first man to step up this past Monday when he engaged in a war of words with Hassan. However, when Mysterio challenged Hassan to a match, the Arab-American told the former champion that he will accept his challenge only if he defeats Daivari. Will Daivari be able to defeat Mysterio or will he get a taste of the 619? Old Rivalry With Smackdown only two days before No Way Out, every wrestler is going to do their best to pick up momentum going into the pay-per-view. This Friday, Edge and John Cena get their chance to prove their teams' strength when they go one-on-one in the squared circle. Edge and Cena have fought many times in the past and both have been heard backstage saying that they will be picking up the win on Smackdown before heading into No Way Out. Which wrestler will back up their claim and pick up the win? Will either man's partner interfere? Tune in to find out.
