Like how you're pushing Burchill, and the rumble was good shame about the lack of segments, good to see badass taker back and winning the rumble, I see his mania streak ending now.

Great Raw Crippler, Taker and Cena stare down was a good way to end Smackdown and Rated RKO splitting was a good thing to do.

![]() [INSERT WITTY NAME HERE] February 2nd, 2007 Earning A Shot Last Monday, The Kings of Wrestling told London and Kendrick that if they were able to defeat The Pitbulls, they would get a shot at regaining the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Titles. However, when London and Kendrick succeeded in their match against The Pitbulls, the tag team champions appeared on the titantron and said that London and Kendrick still haven't earned their title shot. Tonight, the former tag team champions go head-to-head with MNM. Will Paul London and Brian Kendrick be able to defeat the three time tag team champions or will MNM end London and Kendrick's title hopes? Monster vs. Monster Paul Burchill has fought his way to the top of the WWE over the past month, absolutely destroying any man who got in his way. However, this Friday, he will have to face the ultimate monster, Kane. The Big Red Machine hasn't been seen much of late and his desire to end Paul Burchill's winning streak is said to be burning fiercly. Will Kane succeed and restart a path of destruction or will Paul Burchill continue his winning streak? Old Enemies... The Undertaker and John Cena made it clear last Monday that they have nothing but respect for each other. On the upcoming edition of Smackdown, both men will go one-on-one with two of their greatest enemies. The Undertaker faces off with the man who tried to end his Wrestlemania streak, Randy Orton. Meanwhile, John Cena faces off with the Rated R Superstar, Edge. Will the former Rated R-KO be victorious in their seperate matches against the champion and the number one contender? You're doing it right, Lynx. Just predict each show's results like you normally would and I'll score your predictions after the show is posted by a simple formula of (Correct Predictions - Incorrect Predictions). Whoever has the most points after the next PPV is posted gets to pick an indie wrestler.
Also, throwing this in here because it moderately effects the prediction contest, I'm going to try and implement a schedule of: Day 1: Show Preview Day 2: Allow Predictions Day 3: Show Results Day 4: Allow Reviews Day 5-Infinite: Rinse and Repeat So basically, if you want your predictions to count, post either the day you see a show preview or the day after.

![]() Smackdown (2/2/2007) 1. Major Announcement "No Chance" plays through the arena as Vince McMahon makes his way to the ring. Vince says that the WWE has been without a general manager for far too long. He then announces that on this Monday's edition of RAW, he will officially announce the WWE's new GM. 2. Bryan Danielson vs. Jamie Noble Danielson continues to get more and more over while Jamie Noble and his tag partner, Kid Kash, get a moderate amount of heat. Danielson keeps control throughout most of the matchup, even with Kash's attempted interference. The American Dragon picked up the win after locking in the Cattle Mutilation. Winner: Bryan Danielson 3. Call Us... The Hooliganz Paul London and Brian Kendrick are backstage with Todd Grisham. When Todd announces them, though, Kendrick stops him and tells the interviewer to call them "The Hooliganz". Grisham continues and asks them how they feel going into their match tonight. The Hooliganz respond by saying that they defeat The Pitbulls last week to earn their title shot and they will defeat MNM this week just to shut Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli up. 4. Rob Van Dam vs. ????? RVD gets a large pop as he makes his way to the ring, looking very confident. That look turns sour when "Whatever" plays and Chris Benoit makes his way to the ring in his wrestling gear. When Benoit enters the ring, it is clear that he will be Van Dam's opponent. RVD puts up a good fight but Benoit is able to dodge a five-star frog splash and immediately take advantage of Van Dam's mistake to lock in the Crippler Crossface. Van Dam tries to get out of the submission but it is only a matter of time before he taps out. Winner: Chris Benoit 5. Best Friends, Bitter Enemies Shawn Michaels is standing backstage, drinking bottled water, when Triple H walks into view. The pair immediately get into an argument with Triple H calling Michaels a "self-rightous traitor" while HBK fires back by telling Hunter that he's a "moraless pig". The former friends get in each other's faces until security comes by and seperates them. Both HBK and HHH fire off some more insults at each other before going their seperate ways. 6. The Hooliganz vs. MNM MNM gets their usual heat while The Hooliganz continue to get a larger reaction with each show. A match with lots of great high-flying action, the end came when Paul London knocked Johnny Nitro off the ring apron, dropkicked Joey Mercury, and then climbed the turnbuckle to hit a 450 splash to pick up the win. However, just as The Hooliganz begin to celebrate, The Kings of Wrestling appear on the titantron... Winners: The Hooliganz 7. Final Challenge Chris Hero by saying "Bravo" before he starts talking about how The Hooliganz have risen to every challenge that they have been given. However, they haven't proven how good of wrestlers they are while flying solo. So, on the debut of Sunday Night Heat, it will be Brian Kendrick of The Hooliganz against the man who has only been defeated once in his entire WWE career, Umaga! Kendrick looks stunned at this development while Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli laugh evilly. 8. Kane vs. Paul Burchill Kane gets a pop during his entrance while Burchill gets a ton of heat. The undefeated Burchill doesn't back down to The Big Red Machine and walks up to him for a staredown. Kane tries to strike the first blow but Burchill ducks it and gains control early in the match. This match had lots of good brawling in it but the end of the match came down to a steel chair shot. With the ref knocked down after a bump, Kane and Burchill ended up fighting around the ring. After a quick low blow, Burchill grabbed a nearby steel chair and clocked Kane across the forehead. Paul rolled Kane into the ring and followed but by the time he was in, Kane had sat back up. Burchill quickly hit Kane with the chair again before reviving the referee. A standing moonsault later and Paul Burchill continues his winning streak. However, after Burchill begins to leave the ring, Kane sits back up. After stalking Burchill up the ramp, Kane assaults the undefeated wrestler. Burchill fires back, though, and the two men end up brawling all the way to the back. Winner: Paul Burchill 9. My Time CM Punk is shown sitting backstage in his locker room. He talks about how he's been undefeated in the WWE and in ECW, how he's climbed his way from the bottom of the business all the way to the top, yet he still hasn't held a single WWE title. Punk goes on by saying that while none of the men who currently hold any titles truly deserve them, there is one man who he will be targeting to take the title from. He finishes by saying that it is only a matter of time before the American Dragon falls to the straight-edge. 10. The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton Orton is over as a heel, Undertaker gets a huge pop, match starts. A lot of good back and forth action between these two men with both hitting their big moves. However, Orton is once again unable to overcome the Deadman as he is given the Last Ride before being pinned. The Undertaker celebrates a bit but then heads to the back. Winner: The Undertaker 11. John Cena vs. Edge Edge and Cena have had a long history of feuds and it added to the crowd reaction to the match. Like Undertaker and Orton, both men came off strong in the match while hitting their signature moves. After about twenty minutes, Edge gets knocked down with a shoulderblock by Cena who then goes for the five-knuckle shuffle. However, out of nowhere, Randy Orton slides into the ring and hits the Undisputed champion with an RKO. Edge then locks Cena into the Edgecator and, after a minute of fighting, Cena taps out. Orton and Edge look like they're going to continue the beatdown when The Undertaker hits the ring and runs them off after a punch or two. Taker then helps Cena to his feet and the two stare both each other and Rated R-KO down. Winner: Edge Quick Results: 1. Bryan Danielson defeats Jamie Noble 2. Chris Benoit makes Rob Van Dam tap out 3. The Hooliganz (London and Kendrick) defeat MNM 4. Paul Burchill cheats to defeat Kane 5. The Undertaker defeats Randy Orton 6. Edge defeats John Cena

I'm making a big change in the Prediction Contest. I've decided that the (Correct Predictions - Incorrect Predictions) idea is a bit sloppy so from now on it will simply be correct predictions that matter. I went and fixed the leaderboards to match this change.
Also, I screwed up in the last NRU. It said that Sunday Night Heat will be airing in the late evening slot when it will actually be early evening. The preview for the show's debut will be up this Friday.

![]() Sunday Night Heat (2/4/2007): 1. A Massive Challenge Sunday Night Heat opens with Brian Kendrick backstage in his locker room. Kendrick talks about how while he has never faced a challenge as massive as Umaga, he will take down the Samoan Bulldozer. Paul London walks into view and slaps Kendrick on the shoulder before telling his partner that he has his back tonight and that after Brian defeats Umaga they will beat The Kings of Wrestling and take back their titles. 2. Gregory Helms vs. Funaki The best way to describe this match is quick, both in wrestling style and time. Gregory Helms picks up the win over Funaki within about eight minutes after hitting the Shining Wizard. Winner: Gregory Helms 3. The End of DX A video plays hyping the current Shawn Michaels/Triple H feud before officially announcing that they will be having a match at the upcoming No Way Out pay-per-view. 4. World's Greatest Tag Team vs. The Pitbulls A great tag team match between two of the best teams in the business today. Both teams hit their big spots in this match up but it was the World's Greatest Tag Team that were victorious after hitting a superkick-suplex combo on Jamie Noble. While Charlie Haas was pinning Noble, Shelton hit the T-Bone Suplex on Kid Kash in order to protect his partner and pick up the win. Winners: World's Greatest Tag Team 5. A Confident Bulldozer Armando Alejandro Estrada and Umaga are backstage with Todd Grisham. Armando talks about how Brian Kendrick is a tiny ant that will be run over by the Samoan Bulldozer. He goes on to say that there is absolutely no chance that Kendrick will be able to defeat Umaga, especially once the "runt" feels the Samoan Spike driven into his neck. 6. Bryan Danielson vs. Matt Hardy An absolutely amazing match with both Hardy and Danielson getting big pops and coming off strong in the match. The end of the match came about after Matt Hardy was stuck in a corner. He shoved Danielson out of the way, sending the Cruiserweight champion into the referee and knocking him down. Danielson and Hardy keep fighting anyway but it isn't long before the American Dragon that is able to lock in the Cattle Mutilation. However, with the referee down, there is no way that Danielson can pick up the win. Suddenly, CM Punk enters the ring and smashes a steel chair across the Cruiserweight champion's chest. As Danielson released the hold and recoiled from the blow, Punk landed another chair shot across the champ's back. He then drags Matt Hardy onto Danielson and revives the referee before rolling out of the ring. Hardy is able to pick up the three count and begins to celebrate. As Hardy celebrates his win, CM Punk rolls back into the ring with the steel chair in hand. Just as Punk is about to send the chair crashing down a third time, Hardy notices the other man in the ring, jumps down and pulls the chair out of his hands. Punk glares at Hardy before exiting the ring while we cut to commercial. Winner: Matt Hardy 7. Challenging the Do-Gooder We return from commercial to see that CM Punk is walking down the hallways of the arena trashing whatever he comes across. He suddenly turns around and addresses the camera that is following him. Punk says that he had tonight all planned out up until Hardy went and tried to play do-gooder. Tonight, he would have taken Bryan Danielson out of action but Matt had to go and interfere. Punk finishes by saying that he wants Hardy one-on-one this Monday night and Hardy will take the beating that was meant for Bryan Danielson. 8. Umaga vs. Brian Kendrick When The Hooliganz make their way to the ring, it was apparent that Brian Kendrick is trying to do everything he can to appear confident despite his fears. Umaga's music then plays and the Samoan immediately charges into the ring and begins to brawl with Kendrick. This match had a definite clash of styles between the heavyweight Umaga and the lightweight Kendrick. Umaga had control for much of the match but it was only a matter of time before Kendrick began to turn the tide. The former Tag Team champion had Umaga set up for the Sliced Bread #2 when Armando jumped onto the ring apron, grabbed Kendrick by the skull, and began to beat him. The referee calls for a disqualification but Armando continues to attack Kendrick. Eventually, Umaga gets in on it to but that's when Paul London runs into the ring with a ring bell in hand. He clocks Umaga across the back of the head but the Samoan just staggers. It takes another shot knock him down. Armando jumps down from the ring apron and motions to Umaga to get out of the ring. As the Samoan Bulldozer follows his manager's orders, The Hooliganz celebrate the fact that they will get their title shot. Winner: Brian Kendrick Quick Results 1. Gregory Helms defeats Funaki 2. World's Greatest Tag Team defeat The Pitbulls 3. Matt Hardy defeats Bryan Danielson 4. Brian Kendrick defeats Umaga
