Here's a pretty convincing argument: if you don't merge, TWG has nowhere to take place. Try that and I'm sure they'll come around.

And you can go ahead and blame me; I'm not bothered if your roster hates me for it, I'm plenty used to it by now. Contrary to popular belief, I don't TRY to be a jackass... I'm just doing what I think is best for the forum.

Seeing as the forum is hanging on a barely 40 ppd, I'd guess TWG is would be a good thing. Either way, I'll talk to Innovate about the matter and get some results to you. We're not going to leave as a charity case, though.

I'm honestly not sure what you meant by those two bolded parts.

1- It's late, cut me some slack on grammatical errors. And if you check, EWR has about 39 ppd.

2- You stated that we should go to WWE Game and say if we don't merge, we have nowhere else to go. You can't say that doesn't sound like a charity case.

re: Forum Feedback & Information

I wasn't trying to pick at a grammatical error, I really don't see what the forum PPD has to do with TWG being here or not.

It isn't really being a charity case; WWE Game is on its last legs, TWG needs a place to go. It's a logical choice for them to come together in some way.

Apparently, some don't agree with your logical choice. i.e. The WWE Game members.

Well that is their decision.

What I'm more interested in is why you thought the PPD had any relevance to TWG's status in the forum?

I was referring TWG keeping the ppd up a bit. If you tossed it out of the equation, you'd lose about 5 ppd. You seemed to want whats best for the forum as declared earlier, so I brought that up. No big deal.

re: Forum Feedback & Information

Those extra posts don't help the forum in any way.

What is best for the forum is for the focus to be off the roleplays, and even off the diaries to an extent. I would like people to come here to discuss EWR, WreSpi and TEW. To discuss the features, to ask for help, to use the forum like it was designed to be used.

A roleplay draws the focus off that, and spawns people posting diaries that don't last because they are in the forum for the roleplay, decide they might do a diary as well, then get bored and drop it. That is not good for the forum.

re: Forum Feedback & Information

Slim, you've constantly said that TWG doesn't belong here because it's not a roleplaying forum, yet, you brought mafia games to the IRP forum when their not roleplaying games. By your logic, the SVR forum shouldn't allow anything other then discussion about the SVR games, the Movie forum should have no games in it, etc.

What I'm saying is that you seem to be taking the narrowest viewpoint of the EWR forum possible, and IMO, that's not healtky for the forum.

Plus I think this entire matter could have been handled through PM with the other authorities.

re: Forum Feedback & Information

It has been handled through PM with Innovate. It would have been done so with ZTR if he had wanted to but he chose to be open with the discussion, and that is fine by me too.

As for Mafia games, there is an element of roleplaying as you have to learn to play the role assigned to you. It might not be traditional, but the roleplaying factor is still there.

Like I said in the TWG GD, if you can prove to me that TWG is a help to the forum and not a distraction from real discussion, then you can stay. If not, I stand by my decision to ask you to leave.

re: Forum Feedback & Information

I figure I may as well give my two cents.

Honestly, I've distanced myself from wrestling roleplays in general, because I am too busy in my real life to make such a commitment. I do a lot, and having to do roleplays was a chore. Add the fact that I've had an outstanding career (nothing else to acheive, honestly) makes me even more reluctant to add on the words.

But what the hell does any of that have to do with this, well, I've become more lax about RP's in the IRP forum. I'm unfortunately not in tune with the RP's and how they are run. Usually, due to burnout, I would only allow one, but since I felt WWF 2002 would add a lot (and so far, it has) to the forum, I allowed it to stay. It is not an identical copy of another RP where sign-ups are free like WWE game, there's more of a structure.

With WWE Game, which I do hold in high regard given its history and my history within it, I honestly can't put my finger on its problems. Same with TWG. Given my experiences running top Wrestling RP's for 2+ years, I should have some sort of an idea where things are going wrong, and I think it boils down to the staleness of the approach. I don't know if 2002 will survive long enough to prove to me that more structured is the way to be, but the lack of storylines and really interesting feuds and matches, I feel is what is killing TWG and WWE Game. I feel it's more of a chase for titles and one-week feuds with pretty much everyone in the roster, biding the time by and hoping that the powers that be will bestow a World title opportunity, which, looking at WWE Game's Wrestlemania and certain storylines that preceded, the World title has become a joke.

But enough about the problems, I am going to throw a new ball out there. Close both TWG and WWE Game and go back to the drawing board and come up with something different. Something new. Something refreshing. homicide, didn't I talk to you about brainstorming some new ideas with me, that I feel can really change the course of the RP? It's basically 2002's approach but taking it a little further off the track of normality...unfortunately, it's one thing to talk and another to put the plan into action, and at the moment, my life has my hands tied.

Back to the main point. I strongly recommend, am not forcing that WWE Game in the IRP forum take somewhat of a break. Some will say "oh, Rp's never take breaks", but in this instance, I think it will help a lot. That way, TWG and WWE Game can plan out better courses of action. It's a complicated situation, I understand, and keeping both Rp's open is not the smart way to do it.

But that's another problem, I may look to make 2002 the only RP in the forum to prevent any burnout. It's one of those decisions that I will make down the line not long from now, but I am heavily considering going back to the one-RP system. To what extent that affects EWR and Slim's decision, I don't know, but I recommend just playing it by ear for now and take that break.

You know what Bri, I must really say, you make a valid point. You really do.

After the PPV for TWG, me, ZTR, and the other authorities of TWG and Homicide possibly, should talk out and work out some plans.

Well while I'm on here, I'd just like to congratulate Slim on his promotion back on his spot. Keep on doing your thing, ya big dog.
