Perhaps 'Writer's Lounge' is more appropriate? Then again there would be even fewer comments than normal, which isn't very encouraging, unless one of the roleplay sub forums branched out a bit.

It's not even literature though. Most don't exactly tell a story, even the First Person ones. The members there would be like "WTF," and besides, they hardly read or comment on a lot of stories int he first place. I think the Fan Fics like mine should just stay. There's really no other place for them and no one's exactly complaining are they? I think if you really do want to put them some place else, a sub forum from this forum would be efficient. But still, I don't really see why as I haven't seen it mentioned or anything up until this point.

I personally don't have a problem with the complete fantasy diaries. CM's ROH diary is one of the best in the whole forum and that is completely fanatsy. I myself use EWR with a bit of fantasy as otherwise I wouldn't be able to do what I want for my diary. It is my only option I feel, as just using EWR would make my diary completely suck IMO and I've tried TEW but that confused the hell out of me and I didn't have a clue what I was doing. So I don't think we should rid the diary of fantasy diaries!

Im playing a '98 WCW scenario and lost Thunder a month or so back, so all I have is Nitro. I have like 80 guys on my roster (excluding Dev. guys, Managers, etc.) and it's real hard to use a lot of them every once in a while. I know I lost Thunder because my risk was too high(I raised it so they'd kick me off and I'd be able to get a better deal, bad move.) and I've sent out a few promo tapes and the networks always reject them. Should I just keep sending more promo tapes, or what?

Maybe a system whereby people have to get permission to do a first person diary? Because unless they're an awesome writer it'll *bleep*ing suck, and most if not all of them do. It's generally a cop-out for someone who's not capable of running a whole fed.

I don't know about that. Some other diaries have some great storylines and feuds going for them whereas I really just have the NRC-Resilience feud. Thanks for that though lol.

Anyway, I would be willing to use EWR if I could just find a scenario that matches mine, or a way to make scenarios. The only ROH ones I've seen is like from 2004 and ROH in 2004 compared to ROH in 2007 is like WWE in 2007 and WWE in 1996. Or if not EWR, then TEW or whatever... trust me, I'd like to be able to use it. On the EWB forums mine is rotting in the Diary Cube with no comments simply because mine doesn't use any of those games. >_>

Too be honest using EWR or TEW is more of a hassle than anything. I just pretended I used it for my WCW diary and do not use it at all for my current one. Personally I think that diaries not using the games should be allowed. Mainly because if you do not then this forum's activity will be almost non-existent. There are very few actual EWR/TEW diaries to my knowledge and like I said it is more of a hindrance anyways.

I'm just saying; Ring of Honor biased aside, yours is the most detailed.

You can drop the debate now; a couple of people expressed annoyance at them, so I opened it to the forum. Overwhelming support in favour of them staying obviously means they stay.

Why are there so many WWE diaries in this forum, i know half of them don't last 2 seconds but its quite annoying when there are so many.

You people should try out something else, WWF, WCW, TNA, ROH, anything?

I only did WWE because that's all I have seen. I would love to do a WWF one because that's when I used to watch wrestling preoperly and included the best moments of wrestling in the history of WWE/WWF. Maybe a diary to do in the future...
