RAW PREVIEW
WWE Draft After the cancellation of ECW on Sci-Fi, there is a wave of talent left without a brand. Therefore, WWE owner Vince McMahon has announced a new draft exclusively for the ECW talent to find new homes on RAW and Smackdown! The draft will take place over 1-2 weeks, with brand picks being decided by the General managers of RAW and Smackdown! (Teddy Long for Smackdown, and current fill-in GM for RAW Jonathan Coachman) until every former ECW star is on either RAW or Smackdown! New RAW GM In light of recent events, Vince McMahon has decided a permanent GM is needed for RAW, which will be decided first thing on RAW this week. This new GM will have full power over RAW immediately after he is announced, including picking RAW's first draft pick. Current fill-in GM Jonathan Coachman is obviously the favourite and rather confident too, but anything can happen in WWE! No More Divas!? It was announced that Diva matches will be a thing of a past, according to a WWE spokesperson today. The Women's championship has been suspended for an indefinite period of time, therefore Divas will no longer compete in-ring on a regular basis, however, they will still be part of the WWE roster. With the Women's championship gone, WWE have decided a new championship is needed to fill the gap, and it will be announced, this Monday. Scheduled Matches John Cena and HHH vs Edge and Mark Henry Umaga vs The Hardys Kenny Dykstra, Chris Masters and Johnny Nitro w/ Melina vs Finlay, William Regal and Dave Taylor Cryme Tyme vs Deuce N' Domino Randy Orton vs Shawn Michaels Ric Flair vs MVP Great Khali vs Eugene PLUS!: Special SummerSlam Announcement! New Title Belt Revealed! This message was edited by 1point on Aug 01 2007. This message was edited by 1point on Aug 01 2007.

Ok the full RAW report will be up a little later than planned because when I tried to submit it, it said something about having too many guestwords or something like that because I'm new to the forums.
Hopefully it'll be up soon though. Although not many people read this so, it doesn't really matter. Lol! ------------------- I'm not a monster, I'm just...Ahead of the curve

![]() Segments One, Two, Three and Four: After the opening fireworks and pyros *NO CHANCE!* blasts through the arena and Vince McMahon struts out, looking as arrogant as ever and gaining heat from the crowd, despite having not done anything yet. He climbs into the ring before demanding a microphone from the personnel at ringside. After "welcoming" the fans to the draft, he reads through the rules. Vince: Now, I'll try and make these simple so you all understand (McMahon gains heat). Each brand will go one on one tonight and whichever brand wins that match will gain a draft pick! Each General manager can choose whichever superstar they want, including stables and tag teams, as long as they are not on the RAW or Smackdown! roster. Are you following this? Or do I need to go back so you can understand it properly? (McMahon gains more heat). Now, since Bobby Lashley was the last ECW World Champion, his fate will be decided in the main event. Whichever brand wins that match will have Bobby Lashley as part of their roster! (A small pop from the crowd). Of course before we can do this, we need a Raw General Manager. So without further adieu, I present to you, your NEW Raw GM *Jonathan Coachman's music hits and he struts to the ring gaining heat from the crowd* Coach: Thank you Vince! Can I call you Vince? (McMahon starts his reply but Coach continues) Fantastic! I can't tell you how honoured I am to be Raw's PERMANENT GM! (Heat). Now first of all, I- Vince: What the hell do you think you're doing?! (small pop). Stop making a fool of yourself! You're not the new Raw General Manager! Coach: What? But- Vince: Get out of my ring .. *Coach stands bewildered* Vince: Get out or you will be FIRED! (POP) *Coach Scurrys from the ring amid the crowd's jeers* Vince: Shut up! (heat) Now, let me introduce your real Raw GM! "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" blasts throughout the arena and the crowd pop as Paul Heyman walks down to the ring, despite his status as a heel! Heyman: Welcome to my first Raw as GM! (mild pop). Now since I heard the news from Vince that I was the new GM I've been very busy. And I will now reveal my 2 first actions on Raw. (suspense). I have decided even though ECW is dead, its memory can still live on ..in the hardcore title! (POP). The title will be cross-branded and contested under the 24/7 rule. I also managed to strike up a deal with Teddy Long, and now the cruiserweight tile is also cross-branded (POP). My second act as GM is booking Raw's main event for SummerSlam! I have decided that John Cena will defend his title against none other than ..Triple H! (HUGE POP). Now let's get this draft underway! After Heyman and McMahon leave the ring, Ric Flair's music hits! Segment 5, Match 1 Ric Flair vs MVP This is a good match with MVP showing off his new and improved mat wrestling skills, and dominating the first few minutes by wearing down the Nature Boy with a series of submissions. But Flair isn't done yet as he battles back with a series of chops all around the ring. MVP gets an eye poke and foot stomp on Flair and whips Naitch into the turnbuckle, where the referee is standing! With the referee down MVP rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair. He swings at Flair only to get taken down with a drop toe hold and locked in the Figure-four! MVP writhes in pain and struggles to get the ropes, but picks up the chair instead and nails Flair with it, breaking the hold! MVP continues his assault, but as MVP swings for the fifth time Flair dodges it and grabs the chair and works over MVP's legs with it! Flair drops the chair as the referee stirs. Then the Nature Boy locks in the figure-four again! MVP can't fight it this time and taps furiously. The ref struggles up and sees MVP tapping to the Figure-four and calls for the bell! WINNER: Ric Flair by Submission Segment 6 Heyman comes out to his podium and selects The New Breed (Elijah Burke, Marcus Cor Von and Matt Striker) for the RAW brand. Segment 7, Match 2 Cryme Tyme vs Deuce N' Domino w/ Cherry Shad dominates Deuce early on with a series of power moves. But then Deuce reverses a suplex and hits a massive enzuguri. Both men reach their corners and then its Domino's turn to take control. However, JTG's speed proves too much for Domino and he dodges a right hand from Domino and tags in Shad, who proceeds to clean house and signals for the end. But then Cherry jumps up on the apron and Deuce enters the ring and he and Doming floor Shad with a massive double suplex. Domino holds Shad in a sitting position and Deuce bounces off the ropes and delivers a massive kick to the jaw of Shad. 1, 2 ,3! WINNERS: Deuce N' Domino by Pinfall Segment 8 Teddy Long makes his first appearance of the night and announces that the Major Brothers (Brett and Brian) will be going to Smackdown! Segment 9, Match 3 The Great Khali vs Eugene Eugene attempts to shake hands with Khali but the Punjabi Giant is having none of it. He grabs Eugene's hand only to whip him off the ropes and deliver a big boot. Khali the delivers a Chop to the head and then a Double-Handed Choke slam. The referee checks Eugene and declares he can't continue. It was over before it even started WINNER: The Great Khali by Knock-Out Segment 10 Heyman announces that Hardcore Holly will be coming to Monday Nights. Segment 11, Match 4 Kenny Dykstra, Chris Masters and Johnny Nitro w/ Melina vs Finlay, William Regal and Dave Taylor. Finlay, shows off his brawling skills early on against Dykstra before tagging in Regal for some brutal double teaming. Dykstra eventually fights back and makes the tag to Nitro who uses his speed to frustrate and punish Regal and the Brit scores with a massive left hand and both men collapse. Regal is first to the tag, with Nitro shortly after him, and Taylor and Masters enter the fray. After a little brawling, Masters lifts Taylor and throws him into the referee! Masters then proceeds to lock in the Masterlock as Dykstra and Nitro enter to stop Regal and Finlay breaking the hold. But then out of nowhere Hornswoggle appears! He scoots across the ring and hands Regal and Finlay something, before escaping as fast as his little legs can carry him! It's a shillelagh! Finlay delivers brutal shillelagh shots to Nitro and Regal scores with a double underhook powerbomb! Finlay nails Masters with a shillelagh shot to the back, and then Regal floors the Masterpiece with a brutal punch. Brass Knuckles! Hornswoggle gave Regal brass knuckles! Taylor groggily covers Masters as Horswoggle revives the referee! 1 .2 ..3! WINNERS: Finlay, William Regal and Dave Taylor by Pinfall Segment 12 Teddy Long reveals that the Original Extremists (Sabu, Tomy Dreamer and The Sandman) will make Friday Night Smackdown! their new home Segment 13 John Cena and Triple H bump into each other in the hallway. Cena asks if HHH has his back tonight. HHH replies that even though they are opponents at SummerSlam, he won't do anything stupid, as long as Cena doesn't before walking off Segment 14, Match 5 Umaga vs The Hardys The match starts as a complete brawl for a few minutes until Jeff was forced from the ring by the referee as Matt takes the fight to Umaga. Matt whips Umaga against the ropes, only to be flattened by a shoulder block. The Samoan Bulldozer then dominates Matt until he gives Umaga a Side Effect out of nowhere! Matt crawls to his brother as Umaga starts to stir . And makes the tag! Jeff speeds into the match and flies around the ring delivering dropkicks and flying forearms to keep the Samoan down. Jeff then tags his brother back in and they go for Poetry in Motion! But Umaga grabs Jeff in mid-air and hurls him out the ring! With Matt left alone with Umaga he is quickly pummeled down into the corner. Umaga runs at Matt but as he does so, his younger brother climbs the turnbuckle and delivers a missile dropkick to Samoan Bulldozer! Jeff goes back up top and goes for a flying cross body but gets gets caught and drilled to the canvas by a huge Samoan Drop in mid-air! Umaga picks up Matt and gives him the same punishment before delivering the Samoan Spike. 1, 2 ,3. It's over. WINNER: Umaga by Pinfall Segment 15 Paul Heyman chooses Snitsky as his next draft pick. Segment 16, Match 6 Shawn Michaels vs Randy Orton A fast paced match with neither man having a really definite advantage until Orton delivers a vicious top rope DDT! Orton continues his assault with punches to the head and chokes in the corner. Then Orton whips HBK into the ropes only for Michaels to come flying through the air with a forearm to the face. Both men get back to a vertical base and Michaels goes berserk (or in simpler terms, absolutely mental!). Michaels delivers numerous punches to Orton and a snap suplex, before finishing off with a running DDT that leaves both men down. Then Michaels springs to life and starts to tune up the band Here it comes, SWEET CHIN MU-WAIT! ORTON COUNTERS! RKO! Orton crawls toward the cover .ONE .TWO ..THR-SHOULDER UP! Orton can't believe it, he's irate! He stalks Michaels as HBK struggles to a vertical base once more. Here it comes! RK-NO! The Heart Break Kid shoves Orton off the ropes! SWEET CHIN MUSIC! Both men collapse to the canvas! The referee begins the count. At 8 Orton begins to stir, followed by Michaels at 9. But neither man reaches his feet! 10! The match is a draw! WINNER: Draw Segment 17 Vince McMahon explains that, because the match was a draw, each brand will receive a draft! (POP) And as a result of a coin-toss, Smackdown! will choose first. Segment 18 Teddy Long chooses CM Punk to come to Smackdown! Segment 19 Paul Heyman praises Long for a smart draft pick and proceeds to say he has a surprise for him though. *Heyman produces a sheet of paper from his pocket* Heyman: A week before ECW cancellation, I signed a superstar. He was set to make his debut tomorrow night on ECW. However, since ECW was cancelled, he won't make his debut on Sci-Fi. THIS piece of paper however *raises the paper* is very valuable, because this is the contract of the superstar I signed. So, seeing as he has a signed contract with WWE, and is not a member of the RAW or Smackdown! brand, he is eligible to be drafted (Crowd murmur in excitement). Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, my next draft pick CHRIS JERICHO! (MASSIVE POP, which grows louder as Jericho appears from behind the curtain and makes his way to the ring). And I can also reveal that he will be in action, fighting for Raw's next draft pick RIGHT NOW! (POP) Segment 20, Match 7 Chris Jericho vs Mr. Kennedy Mr. Money in the Bank glares at Jericho in digust on his way to the ring and they start fighting immediately, with Kennedy skipping his usual introduction in favour or attacking Jericho. They brawl until Jericho takes the advantage and nails a succession of dropkicks and snap suplexes. Jericho then proceeds to perform a back suplex and a DDT, before getting a 2 count on the pin. Jericho doesn't relent in his assault, punishing Kennedy all over the ring before Kennedy slips out of the ring for a breather. Jericho thinks about it for a moment, and then follows Kennedy outside the ring. Kennedy runs (like a scalded dog) from Jericho before turning round and catching Jericho by surprise with a boot to the gut to take the advantage. Mr. Money in the Bank then drops Jericho onto the security barricade before throwing him back in the ring. Kennedy then climbs the turnbuckle and heaves Jericho onto his shoulders, ready for the Green Bay Plunge. But then out of nowhere, Jericho wriggles free and the Ayatollah or Rock N' Rollah throws Kennedy to the canvas. Jericho hops down and grabs Kennedy's legs. Mr. Money in the Bank tries to wriggle free but to no avail as Jericho locks in the Walls of Jericho! Kennedy has no choice but to tap out to give Jericho the victory! WINNER: Chris Jericho by Submission Segment 21 Paul Heyman announces Rob Van Dam as his next draft pick Segment 22, Match 8 MAIN EVENT Triple H and John Cena vs Edge and Mark Henry John Cena and Edge begin the match with Edge taking the early advantage after a DDT and a spinning wheel kick. But Cena fights back with a series of punches until Edge rakes at the WWE Champion's eyes and tags in Mark Henry. The Self-Proclaimed Silverback entered the ring and dominated Cena throwing him around like a rag doll before lifting him over his head and dropping him to the ground. Henry makes the cover, but HHH breaks it. The King of the Smackdown! Jungle then turns his attentions the King of Kings, but the Game puts up a massive fight, slugging with Henry before dropping him with a massive spinebuster. With the Game having bought Cena some time and Mark Henry reeling, the Champ makes the tag whilst Henry does the same. Triple H then proceeds to clean house dropping Henry with a DDT and Edge with a spine buster. Triple H tags in Cena who lifts edge onto his shoulders for the F-U! But wait! Triple H runs at Cena and takes him down with a high knee, letting Edge escape an F-U and recuperate in the corner. HHH grabs Cena and hooks his arms .Pedigree! Triple H then leaves the ring with Cena out on the mat as Edge tags in Mark Henry. Henry connects with the World's Strongest Slam before making the cover. One, two thr-KICKOUT!!!!! The Game can't believe it! He runs back to the ring and hits Cena with another Pedigree as Mark Henry tags in the Rated-R Superstar. Edge stalks Cena. SPEAR! 1, 2, 3! WINNERS: Edge and Mark Henry by Pinfall Segment 23 Satisfied with his handiwork, the Game heads up the ramp as Lillian Garcia declares Edge and Mark Henry the winners and announces that as a result of the outcome of this match, Bobby Lashley is heading for Smackdown! as Triple H stands smiling triumphantly on the stage.
