Sales don't really account for much, but as you said Existence, there is a very slim chance that this game will flop in terms of review scores.

of course it wont flop. if they dont change the base formula drastically from the first game, and only working on improving it, then its failproof.

just like uncharted 2. they didnt change anything from the first game, only improved some of the flaw/unecessary part from the first game. as expected it turns out to be a whole lot better than the first game

same with mw2. mw1 was 2007 goty. if they follow the same approach, then it cant really go down, only up.

I personally don't care about MW2. I've disliked the COD games, and plus I don't really see any incentive to MW2 on the PS3, it seems to be engineered completely around the 360... why would I play a 360 optimized game when a game like Uncharted, designed around the PS3, is better in every way?

If anything, the annoying kids will leave to play MW2. I feel that for the most part, the Uncharted community isn't huge into MP games, god Ucharted 2 for the singleplayer and then got hooked on the MP. Those fans wont go anywhere because they aren't MP fans.

Uncharted 2 will certainly take a big hit from MW2, I think.

I only saw 6 thousand people logged on for uncharted last night. Usually it's around 12 thousand most nights.

Yeh i was gonna say the same thing, but i think it's a good enough number.

They lost half of their online players. That's not good at all and it takes even longer to get into a match.

There was nothing Naughty Dog could do to prevent being punched in the gut by MW2, but I am still impressed with the number of players turning up everyday

Hopefully when the DLC launches, they will come crawling back

I think this'll be the average number for quite a while now.

i fear its becoming the killer of this forum as its currently 8th in the top ten (previously 5th/4th)

i am not a big fan of first person games, never have, probably never will. very rarely one comes along that i like, halo 1,2 & 3, for example but i never like them too much i just love 3rd person games. anyway i think that in a while people will come back to playing U2 online. i once seen 1 million people +, were online on COD WAW ! some online games are are really dying out like MGS online i went on last week for te first time in 3 months and not 1 lobby was full !

Also this game seriously needs a looby system ! i dont like having to wait ages to find a game and then end up playin on a map/gametype or both, that i dont want to play with people that lag ! Thats the 1 flaw of this game !

If Naughty Dog release trunks of DLC, we could crawl interest back into the forums; or if everyone would participate more in the general discussions
