Well, I have a PS3, so can't play TLaD, but I'm interested in its plot. I understand that Johnny steals the diamonds during a deal between Gay Tony and someone during the mission "Diamonds in the Rough"? Who was the one selling the diamonds to Tony and Luis?

Just the people who were on the Platypus (the ship). you never see them again besides that part in TLAD.
