now before i start i just want to say i love this game and probably one of my favourite FPS, so don't get the wrong idea from this.

so you're in the heat of the game, killing streak, no one can touch you, you are a ninja. there crouching in the corner you see an enemy and he has no idea you are there. being the ninja that you are you go up to melee your victim. you swing your weapon, yet nothing, no loud scream, no points no nothing. you swing again yet still the same result. suddenly the enemey sees you, they stay crouched, point their gun at you, and fill you up with the lead. that or they use their melee weapon and kill you

my problem is that i think that the melee system is a little bit broken since when it's someone standing vs someon crouching, some how the crouching person wins. discuss just remember i don't have a problem with this game, it's just like any other game, it has problems.

p.s. i also find the recoiless rifle (infantry secondary) very broken since it can easily take out a tank yet it has trouble killing opponents unless hit head on, while the rifle grenade is the complete opposite

I'm not sure what happened to you with your melee, but Infantry are effective against vehicles and Rilfemen are effective against people, it's as simple as that.
