i have a few questions for anyone that can answer, first would be, can you move freely in this game? if so is there random battles and shops/pubs etc.

Nope...

Like strategy kid...no...the game is straight forward all the way linear...except later in the game where you can train in the phantom realm...no..there arent shops...instead...you make your own items with recipes and materials

is it possible to change the way the movement of the cursor in battle moves it seems to be reverse from the other games i have played i looked through the options and the is nothing there

Issen is a very powerful move. If you move next to an enemy and issen, and next turn the enemy physically attacks you, WHAM! That enemy is automatically dead!

later in the game, you get acces to some sort of underworld type thing....this is the training ground. It is very annoying, because you start off on level one, and try to make it as far as you can to level 16 without healing in between....the monsters become gradually harder. You do have the choice to leave between each fight though. its a good place to get loads of genma stones.

I keep on geting killed when I fight the genma bros. esp:9white...conclusion.

How do I equip herbs? I got plenty but I don'y know how ta use it!

in the equiptment screen before battle....the last two slots on each guy is for items.

how do you make weapons? I remember the master saying something with weapons and genma stones.
