What do you drive ?? |
|
Just to keep the board nice and active, although probably wont work!
Those of you who are old enough/have a license what do you drive ? Or if you dont drive / not old enough what would you [ realistically ] like to drive ? I myself drive one of these : Nissan 200sx S14a, Uk Touring spec. Very nice car, loads of parts available for it and a great owners club for them. Mine has had a few bits done and should be around 280bhp from the 200bhp standard. [obviously i dont actually have a clear bonnet but this was a PS i did a while back lol ] Probably should of cleaned it properly before taking the picture lol. ![]() ------------------- 290BHP through the rear wheels . . . Hey Crash that looks like an awesome motor. I really like the Silvias as a car, but I really don't like the name! But who cares if it's as nice as the one you've got there?!
I drive a Ford Cougar 2.5 V6 myself. It's not really a sports car - it's half way between that and a comfy tourer. It's not too bad with its 170hp. I haven't had it chipped or anything because I'm struggling to run it on my wage as it is without putting up my fuel bills! It has been well cared for though. No expenses were spared every time it's been serviced. One thing I really like about it are the alloys ![]() ![]() ------------------- ![]()

quote P71pantherCan i ask you something, Why is it americans have such a thing for Auto's ? I can understand it maybe on the classic car's but on newer car's i dont get it. Is purely because most that drive only learn Auto's , or is there another reason? Always puzzled me lol. Oh and my mate wants to know, what order are your pedals in lol. Ooo thought id show off my Photoshop skills lol ![]() ------------------- 290BHP through the rear wheels . . . Oh the joy

quote crash_n_burn I don't think it's the people, honestly, I think it's the Auto-makers trying to make driving easier for people. I like Manual far better than I do Auto--except in traffic, but still. I don't understand it either. It's just what we get shipped I guess. I always get pissed when I see some chump driving a sexy Corvette and it's an Automatic. God that pisses me off. ------------------- ![]() Til the roof comes off, til the lights go out Til my legs give out, can't shut my mouth

I guess there are more autos in America because generally the country is so much bigger than European countries. I think that probably means that a lot of Americans are more prepared to drive long distances to get places, and when you drive long distances you need all the comfort you can get. I'd still go for a manual, but hey, that's just me!
