In recent gameplay footage, we have seen that the thermal energy has indeed returned. It was the one thing that kept the first game from being perfect, yet it still returns in the sequel. So, what are your thoughts on this? I personally don't mind to much, but I don't really like it. In the gameplay footage, it looked like it depleted a lot slower than in the first game at least. Plus, the ability to share thermal energy is pretty cool.

It really doesn't seem as crucial as it was in the last game, as you said it depletes slower. It's also cool that you can shoot TE to teammates taking damage with a sniper rifle.

In this one, it looks like they use it to regenerate health, like it would in the story mode, but they do it for everyone.
And it activates by holding start, as they said in the interview. ------------------- | |
