Hi, and welcome to the Animal Parade Club, the second version of the local forum roleplay! This is much more different from the original Animal Parade roleplay, as this one is less strict. Also, before any questions are directed, this is inspired after the Tree of Tranquility Club of the Tree of Tranquility forums. Anybody is welcome here, as long as you follow the rules that are listed below. Well, AnimeFreak claimed Luke in the previous roleplay version, so I don't really know if she still wants him. I'll PM her and see if she still wants him, kay? You can find the summary of my character in the first post, so I won't post it again here. XD And, Kristen, we'll start on... Let's start on December 31st, so we can properly celebrate New Year's Eve. ^^' - - - December 31st Sini Aoiro: I gently tugged the ends of my dress down as it folded up by accident, and looked into my mirror in the closet. My dress was only about one or two inches above my knee, which was good; it wasn't too revealing, and if it is too revealing, well. It goes against my likings. Tonight, everyone on Castanet was going to celebrate until morning; until the new year came. I had no friends here yet, and was anxious to meet new people. The night before a new year was a perfect time to break out of my shell. I sighed and took a deep inhale of the fresh air in my beach hut. "Here goes nothing..." Quietly, I stumbled out my beach hut, and walked around my dining park bench. When it was good weather out, I always eat out by the sea and on my special little bench. I grinned, and watched people's store and house lights flicker on once they night sky turned dark. Appearance:   Personality: Meringue is clever, quick, and sarcastic, and therefore, can be very hard to get along with. I said to the captain of the boat, who's name was still unknown to me. He slid a card across the table with shaking hands and I snatched it in a second. I took a quick look, did the math in my head, and played my best poker face. "You going to bet?" I asked without enthusiasm. The old man nodded his head, and his eyes glimmered. He placed one of each a purple and burgundy chips in the center, and I raised him a black. He matched me and laid down his hand of two queens. I smiled and laid down my two fives and an Ace, pulling in the pile with glee. "Thanks, but that will be it for me." I answered when he asked if I'd play again. I couldn't risk betting the money I'd just earned... It was all the money I had. "Ah..." he sighed, as the boat pulled into the dock. "Looks like we're here Miss." He didn't seem regretful to have me off his boat. I muttered a quick 'thanks' and hopped onto the dock before the boat was completely stopped. I slung my brown tote over my shoulder and kicked my heels back into my worn cowboy boots. I had barely a moment to breathe before a heavy little man, twisted grey hair on top his head, came skipping toward me. "Meringue!" he greeted me enthusiastically. "Oh yippee!! So glad you're here!" he shouted, though I was but a foot away. He grabbed a notebook out of his jacket pocket and started flipping through vigorously. "Now let's see here..." he muttered. "Yes, yes... No, that's not right. Here we are!" He raised his eyes from the paper to give me a reassuring grin. "You've got that old shop in the Kaval Meadow district haven't you? Near Horn Ranch yes? Yes that's right. Come this way!" He led me through the town, naming districts and pointing out houses and shops. I might have caught a few names, but it was hard to do both that and keep up with the excited mayor. At last we reached the Kaval Meadow, and I was extremely anxious to be left alone with my house. And finally, after seemed like forever, I would be. We walked up to the house and he smiled with glee. "This is it!" he exclaimed, handing over the keys. I jumped up and down inside, and snatched the keys excitedly. "Thanks!" I smiled. "How much?" He seemed to contemplate this for a moment before saying, "Oooh just take it. This old place has been here for years, and we've had nothing to do with it. Now that you're here, it's not just wasting space. In fact, I'm going to pay you for taking it off my hands! I'll have Barbara and Dale send over some supplies tomorrow to get you started. Oh-ho! Must get to work though! Cheerio!" he yelped, running off. That left me, alone, in the Kaval Meadow district. Um... what about the song Hawiian Roller Coaster Ride from Lilo and Stitch, Kristen? Parents are sleeping!! *cracks fingers* Let's do this!!!  December 29th: (Hold on I'll explain the screwy date in a second!) Antoinette: "Mother?" Silence. "Father?" Silence. "Hello...?" Silence. "HELLOOOOO!!!" My echoes then silence. The wind roared outside the empty, cold palace walls. I leant against an icy collum and looked around, peering around the corner. "Hello?" Silence in the throne room. "Where is everyone...?" "Gone." I whirled around and saw a person in the shadows. The figure stepped into the light and I could see it was a young man. "Who are you?" "None of your business. You need to leave. Now." "What? Where's my family? My kingdom?" "Gone. Go. Now." "Not until I know who you are." I stomped my foot. A loud throbbing sound came from outside. "Quick! Hide!" He screetched. "What?!" "Go!" He pressed me on. His cloak covered his face and outfit and the only thing I did see was a scrap of blonde hair. He shoved me in a small closet and ordered, "Run!" The banging sound became deafening as I sat in the cupboard. "I said RUN!" He hoarsely yelled. The banging moved to the throne room door and broke through it with a crash. I nodded my head and scurried off down the narrow passage into the closet. That was the last I ever saw of him... ~~~ December 30th: I wandered through the snow for what seemed like forever. I was confused, cold, and hungry. And very, very, tired... What happened back at the palace? An invasion? Impossible! We're on the North Pole! I shivered and looked out over the ocean stretching before me. I pictured a large, but friendly, sea monster in the waters and it soon appeared to take me away. The serpant was long and scaly, but it leaned against the rock and allowed me to climb onto its back and hold on. I hugged close to it and waited for our destination to nowhere to arrive. ~~~ December 31st: "Thank you." I pet the monster's white head. It nodded and dissinigrated into my imagination. Odd, no? My imaginations came to life and disappeared just as easily. I was on some sort of tropical-like shore. I think. I noticed snow and thought of home. Tears came to my eyes, so I quickly brushed them away. Walking along by myself along the stretch of beach, I hoped for civilization. "Hello?" I noticed a small girl up ahead. "Hello!" I shouted gratefully. "Who are you?" She asked, backing up. "Wait! Please! My name is Antoinette Ceili White." "Um... I'm Chloe." "Nice to meet you, Chloe. You can call me whatever you like I suppose. As long as it's not insulting!" I laughed. She did too and replied, "Okay, Ceili. I like that name. Come with me!" I grabbed her little hand as she led me to a small town. "Where am I?" "You don't know?! This is Castanet!" "Oh! How... lovely?" "You've got to come to the festival!" "A festival?" "Yeah! It's for the New Year!" "Oh..." I just realized how long I had been traveling... "Don'tcha wanna come?" She looked at me and cocked her head. "...Sure!" I made up my mind and smiled. I wailed, falling on my buttocks as I accidentally got pushed down. From all the people rushing about, I couldn't find out the pushy person who pushed me down to my bottom, so I just brushed it off and pushed past the crowd to the bar. I hurried inside, and quickly tackled myself into a seat before someone else could. I watched the waitresses hurry around with filled trays, almost dropping them to the floor from being pushed. A bit of info I forgot to add to the character sheet: Tagg's parents are dead, and neither of his parents have siblings, so his sister (eleven) has to live/travel with him.

And, welcome to the roleplay! I don't think so, Lucy. I think it's set up much differently... And instead of a square this time, there's a plaza for festivals and such, and a church there, too. I'll meet up with you in this post. ^^' - - - December 31st Sini Aoiro: "Gimme my grape cocktail back!" a man boomed suddenly. The bar was wiped out of all of its chitter chatter, and suddenly, a war began just because of a cocktail. I sighed and waltzed on out once people started cheering for violence. I, for one, don't encourage violence at all. I hurried away quickly, and tripped over my untied ribbon on my shoe. "Ow..." I repeated myself from earlier. Beating the pain, I climbed up a staircase without bending my knee, and found piles of others cheering away in what looked to be a plaza. A large building stood behind the scene, which looked quiet as ever. A blue-haired boy with golden-coated eyes waltzed out of the building while holding a small book in his hand. I managed to get back onto my feet, and noticed the book was actually a bible. The boy scurried down the same staircase I had climbed up earlier, and we took our separate ways into and out of the plaza. I took a deep breath, and walked up to a random blond-haired girl, tapping her. "Umm, hi there..?" I greeted in a question-y tone. The girl whirled around, revealing her ocean blue eyes.
