I keep trying to get on Quake Live, but it *bleep*ed up my computer because I can't get out of fullscreen

Its a browser based game so most processors should be able to handle it and you have 3 GB of RAM so it shouldn't be a problem.

It's essentially Quake 3, and with those specs you'd be able to play a fair few versions at once.
