WELCOME! WELCOME! I am Dean of admissions yours truly DedValve! Here to tell you that the survivor horror school is now open for business! Now many of you wonder "gee willickers DedValve, what exactly IS the Survivor horror school?" Well kids the question you should be asking is "Gosh golly DedValve, wtf is up with horror games today?" Yes it seems that horror has lost it's spice compared to the old true terrifying gripping fear that it use to bring. Is it because we are getting older and see through the ruse? - Then how would adults also have gotten scared playing Resident Evil or Silent Hill for the first time at night? Is it because developers are getting lazy? - Possibly, but really I believe that developers are just "confused" Is it because the action market has taken over? - This only works with already established horror titles such as Silent Hill and Resident Evil as opposed to others. However do not fear my children! I will continously update this thread to teach you more and more about what makes a horror game a horror game and whats going on with it currently and even what might be of horror games in the future! Here is your curriculum!! Normal Classes: 1rst Period: Monsters 101 Prof. NEMESIS 2cnd Period: Basic Weapons wielding Mr. Redfield 3rd Period: Basic Combat style Mr. Shepherd 4rth Period: Ambiance and setting Ms. Hinasaki LUNCH!! Excella Gionne 5th Period: Story Mr. Sunderland 6th Period: General Gameplay Mr. Sunderland 7th Period Gym Mr. PyramidHead 8th Period: General Gameplay Ms. Mason Advanced Classes: 1rst Period: Choosing your type of fear Mr. Wesker 2nd Period: Music Mrs. Simpson 3rd Period: Difficulty *position Open!* 4rth Period: Linear or Non linear Gameplay? Regina LUNCH!! Lunch Man Bobby Scissorman 5th Period: Advanced Chemistry Mrs. Ashford 6th Period: Advanced Gameplay and handicaps *position open!* Classes Shall begin tomorrow as I will be explaining to you through time each and every one of these topics. Not only is my class and open class (anyone can take these topics and share them with the rest of the class) We will also be delving into how some Survivor Horror games changed for better or worse and if it will or has already affected the horror market, what the main audience is into these days, and what are current SH games are doing now. Will Survivor Horror fade away into the obscurities of action games? NOT WHILE I'M STILL BREATHING!! So kiddies, get your ideas up on what YOU have to contribute to the school! UPDATE As a bonus, 10 gold stars will be received to the student who can name the games the entire staff has been in. They also will not have to do homework and can choose the very first class! But it has to be the WHOLE staff. Hello, I am Miss Belvery and I would like to enroll my twin sons into this school, Darius and Jacob Chiken (they have their father's last name). I would like to start them as soon as possible. Also, their father is asking for a position as the music teacher.

Okay, starting tomorrow the first class will begin and the contest for guessing the normal class faculty has begun!
Remember getting all correctly will give you 10 stars and you get to choose your next topic and skip gym. (trust me you never want to be sweating wearing shorts next to pyramid head  )I will continuously update this thread till tuesday (by then L4D2 should have already consumed me >.> ) ------------------- RE5 IS RACIST!!! | |
