So I notice that Escape From Monkey Island always freezes when it saves. The save game is created but it just pauses up and nothing happens. Also, the animation is jerky and some animations don't complete right (entering the scumm bar results in Guybrush coming back outside and standing out front until the animation is skipped with escape).

Sometimes these animation errors even lead to crashing and freezing. I have tried installing the game on my XP professional machine several ways and the game seems fine except for these issues.

Please help.
