Tanker explosives & story |
|
1: Why did not the explosives(remember, the lazor things you had to sneak by) activate when the tanker sunk? When MG crushed it?
2: A bit of storyline confusion: 1: (this might be obvious) Ocelot had Liquid's arm, right? Liquid is Solid's genetical copy? (=same dna) Solid Snake is dead, or so do they say, but his right arm is missing. The leader of the sons of liberity claims to be him. My thoughts of this: Liquid is dead, but Shalashaska (Ocelot) has his hand and the body obviously has the same DNA that Solid, aka Solid is alive. =Solid is alive and somehow has taken part in the game? (I'm right now getting an AK) And even more of that: 1: Is Pliskin Solid/Solidus? Since the two look so *bleep*ing much like each other and he DID say his name is "-S-..." 2: Why are the MGS1 and MGS2 so much alike based on the story? Like, the swimming part, the elevator and stuff. First I thought it's a single little fun thing the team wrote to the story, but after all of these similarities, it it starting to seem like there's some kind of a meaning for this? BTW, Raiden owns ------------------- ![]() I answered the questions 100% honestly...

re: Tanker explosives & story |
quote SeymrothIt was already activated by Ocelot, remember that he pushed a button that detonated the bombs, before he stole Ray? He raised up a detonator while saying that the ship is rigged with Semtex to stop them from shooting, and he pushed the button anyway. quoteFor some reason I have the feeling you didn't finished the game, or didn't pay attention. quoteDid you finish the game? It's Solid Snake, whoops spoiler. quoteYou know what's funny, at the end of the game, you find out why MGS2 is a recreation simulation of Shadow Moses, whoops another spoiler. Seriously, I wonder if you finish the game first before questioning with this, then you would already know most of these questions' answers. ------------------- ![]()

Ya know, the spoiler warning is there all for you
And yeah, I didn't finish the game yet. If you red my post well you would know that I said I am getting an AK(got it by now, tho). I thought he detonated a whole different mass off c4 or something Didn't really think that the lazor thingies 'ploded with the rest... How silly of me! Anyways, how much gameplay do I still have ahead of me? Where to get the Dir. mic? (off-topic... But you seem to be a guy that knows) And THX for the COMPLETELY SPOILER-FREE answers. Aerith dies. Whoop spoilers. ------------------- ![]() I answered the questions 100% honestly...

re: Tanker explosives & story |
quote SeymrothWell, you really shouldn't ask those questions in the first place, you either get the truth that you didn't want to know, but are asking for it, or the obvious and only answer; "You find out in the end.", which you should do by finishing the game first before even thinking about asking a question that's basically a spoiler if you haven't finished it. quoteWell, Snake does say if he trigger those, he will be sleeping with the fishes, along with this entire ship. So, the SamTex must be a powerfull explosive device. So, even though, you don't see those that you encountered exploded, it's most likely that they exploded aswell, when he pressed the detonator, the whole ship was going side to side when they all got detonated. quoteYou find the Directional Microphone at Shell 1 in the Computer room on B2, use the Elevator in that building to get to B2. Not sure how long gameplay is left, probably around 6 hours more or less, but that also depends on how long you take over it. quoteNo problem, thanks for not playing the game through first. quoteOh noez, not the flower girl? It's not true! I wont believe you! She came back in Kingdom Hearts, so she must be alive! ROFL ------------------- ![]()

Not that the spoilers really bother me, but the rules say you hawta use spoiler boxes. I'm used to playing RPG:s, ya know, Golden sun and stuff, and this is the third action game I've played I haven't had much time to play, busy with school and band. Why are you so pissed off from me not playing the game before being intrested in things? quote StitchUmm, no. Somehow I feel like you didn't play the game? Aerith is Riku in disguise. Whoops spoilers. Thank you, again, for the answers. ------------------- ![]() I answered the questions 100% honestly...

re: Tanker explosives & story |
quote SeymrothI think That's usually when the game is brand new, it's been now 7 years later, and most people already played it to death by now, so the spoiler rule kinda is faded off from this game. quoteI only have Final Fantasy 7 and 8, and Kingdom Hearts 2. Don't have many RPG's, I guess that's the only ones I have. quoteI'm not pissed off, but don't you think it's a little bit funny, that you ask questions you don't want to know the answers for before you find out for yourself? Especially if it's about the story or the characters. It's better to finish the game first, and seen the story and events yourself, before asking any questions about the characters or story, because it might've been explained in the game already, and you wont risk running into a spoiler before seeing it yourself. quoteWell, that might explain why her voice sounded so monotoned in KHII... quoteNo problem. ------------------- ![]()

If you don't want to be spoiled, don't ask questions that can potentially lead to spoilers. It's just common sense.
