Personally, I haven't played it for years, but looking back over this board has made me want to play it again. I think I'll start a new game tonight.

So, does anyone else play MGS2:SOL?

I am playing now! I used to have this game ages ago, but sold it because I couldn't beat Vamp on Extreme. But I bought it again recently, and I'm doing Extreme now. I HAVE beaten Vamp, and I've almost completed it again. Then I can receive the blug wig =D

I think I'm going to play it now, it's weird going from MGS3 to MGS2, L1 is different in each game.

I've just started playing this again. If I had MGS1, I would be playing it now. I just like the indoors feel that is present in MGS1 and MGS2.

Yes, I prefer MGS2 to MGS1 and MGS3. I like being inside. I like the Stealth and Wigs you can unlock. Which you can't get MGS3 to my knowledge. It might make the game really easy, but I think it also makes it fun, just to mess about with the dumb guards.

MGS2 lost the MGS feel, MGS3 regained it. Mainly because MGS2 had nothing to do with sneaking and MGS3 brought it back (and improved it).

L1 doesn't do anything in MGS2, does it? I tried pressing it, but it didn't do anything.

I use to play this game years ago at my friend's house but only recently bought it for myself. I already beat the game once through, and I want to go back and unlock some of the items.

use it in FPV. It makes the game easier. Look at the comments of this video to notice me bitching at the author I beat Vamp way faster without using autoaim shananagins.

Yeah, I didn't know about auto-aim until I'd unlocked EVERYTHING. Haha, but I'm proud that I unlocked everything without it.

I haven't played this game in ages, might start playing it again. I've got the substance version though which is better.

Anyway it's still a decent game, but i can see why people dislike it.

I like it. Since it was my first MGS game, I still play it a lot.

Also, I didn't know L1 was auto-aim either.

I would if i still had my PS2.

I would of started an European Extreme game by now, but my PS2 *bleep*ed up towards the end of my MGS3 European Extreme game, (got the the bit where Naked gets his eye shot out) so i sold it, and like an idiot sold my memory card to!

I should be getting another PS2 or even a PS3 soon though, so I'll make sure that I pull this off the shelf.

This is my favourite MGS game by far!!!
