Ezio's beard. |
|
Anyone noticed it in the trailers? It was in many trailers. Here's a pic:
It looks badass IMO. Comments? -------------------

I wonder if its a customization option, or if its story-related.

In most of the screenshots and promo posters he just has a bit of stubble below his bottom lip.

Ezio's side of the game is said to take place from shortly before his father's death to his late 40s (possibly 50s). It's unsurprising that he grew a beard somewhere among the line.

It's that Italian sex factor

It seems Ezio's face appears more than Altair's did, and so they had to make it cooler.
Good job, Ubisoft! ![]() -------------------

This pissed me off. Just because he's Italian they have to show his face or something? Hell I'm Italian and I thought the whole hidden face thing was awesome. Plus he's an assassin, not a lumberjack. He's supposed to be slick, cool, and intelligent. Not hairy, stinky, and barbaric.
No facial hair ftw. | |

quote CupsOfSauceDon't understand that at all. This story delves more into Ezio's life- The game spans 30 years of his existence. It's inevitable they'd show his face. ![]() -------------------

I just feel like the game's losing it's feel just to appeal to a wider audience. Some change is good but they may as well be making a prince of persia then. I heard that your life no longer regenerates which stops the natural flow. I hate having to go "buy" or pick up health. Regen is the best way to go. It wouldn't hurt to have like a health back incase you're near death but damn.
My point is, they're trying to make him a stereotypical Italian Bad ass. and it seems they're lowering the Assassin's Creeds rules. Assassins aren't pimps, there's no point in showing your face, especially if you used to famous you'd want to hide your face more. He should be a complete different person and way more secretive. The only thing is that I'm hoping I'm wrong and they don't basically have his ass out the entire game.

I think you've slightly missed the point. Just because he is an assassin doesnt mean he has to be in disguises, or need to have his face covered. Its should be about his skill and ability to blend in, stealth that let him goes unnoticed or be detected until he strikes, not whether or not his face is covered..

MGS1 was clean shaved, MGS2 he had like some stubble, MGS3 was Big Boss and clean shaved, MGS4 was a mustache and it was used to make him look a bit older, and sort of fit since he looked that way.
In this case, Ezio is still young hence the brown in his beard. X_X ------------------- ![]() Nothing is true, Everything is permitted ![]()

quote CupsOfSauceEzio is what? I am guessing around 20 when it starts. I know people at 20 with beards/stubble/goatees and what-have-it. Also, considering that this games goes from when he is around 20 to when he is 40-50 years old, I think him having stubble and a bit of a beard is pretty acceptable.
