I really thought they'd release this on PS3, and have it grittier, and more mature, seeing as the fans that fell in love with the original series are now grown up.
I also hoped that this game would bring all the old Jak 3 forum regulars back. I'm the only one left, no-one else has logged in since '05, but seeing as they're still aiming this at younger audiences, I doubt it'll bring everyone back. Maybe one or two if anyone. I was also shocked to discover this wasn't being released for PS3. It's a shame, because I'd rather play this on my TV rather than my PSP (which I only use while I'm out).

Definitely. It's being released for PS2 as well though Siphon, if you feel like pulling out the old console.

i dont agree. one because i dont have a ps3, two because ps3 games are expensive and 3 because its a jak game on the go. i hope the graphics are as goodas they were in the trailer.cant wait for this game!

The PS3 is the next generation console. Sony will drop the PS2 in a few years time.
The fact that you don't have a PS3 isn't entirely our problem, Sony could have used this game to draw more players towards the PS3, as it is and always has been a PlayStation exclusive, this coupled with the fact that it's a heavy weight title. I have mates who have 360's who were considering getting PS3's simply for The Lost Frontier. Now it'll just seem like another game Sony have released simply because they want to make people with PS2's happy. Which, is what this game actually is. It won't do anything special, it'll be yet another introducer game for the poor man's console, aimed at the same people the Wii's aimed at. Younger kids (a mistake on ND's part, as all their past demographic are now grown up) and casual gamers. Why Naughty Dog? Why? i admit, they could have had a ps3 version rather than a ps2 version. i dont really care about a ps2 version because it probably has the same graphics as the psp version and i dont mind playing it on a small screen. the only reason i'd want to get the ps2 version is if it had connectivity to the psp version.i also admit i would rather have a ps2/psp or ps3/psp version than a ps2/ps3 version.im at home most of the time so it is worthwhile both ways. i like to lie down and start the game without delay.

well, i read somewhere that this game is a spinoff between jak 3 & jak x to make up for jak 4. it is supposed to help us understand another jak game coming out for the ps3 made by naughty dog. it may just be a rumor, but there is hope for you ps3 owners of a jak game on the ps3.

the ps2 is the king of sd gaming consoles, the psp is the king of portable consoles, and the ps3 is the king of hd consoles. though the president of gaming consoles is the ps2, and the vice president is the playstation(a.k.a ps0ne).
