quote PappiWell technically the entire concept of a draft league is copied, but whatevs. IIRC the one I did on PES08 didn't have the draft at the start and people began with existing teams and transfer budgets according to the strength of the team they took. The pre-season transfer window consisted of 'auctions' to get players from outside the league into the league as well as people trading players amongst themselves. The random occurences, injuries, suspensions etc were all things that I added in to spice up the league. I also had player development (according to both development curves and players' performances over the season), but I wouldn't recommend this - more trouble than it was worth. The random occurences etc worked well though, but make sure they are random - download a random integer generator and screenshot everything to stop people accusing you of cheating it if one person keeps getting all the bad luck. Be prepared to put in some serious effort to this though - it takes a lot of time and effort on the organiser's part to keep on top of all the weird stuff like random occurences and sorting out who has how much money left (and unless Pompeyfan's maths has improved over the last two years, prepare yourself for working back through and cancelling dozens of deals that might have occurred as a result of him going millions over budget to buy a player ). | |
