This is like a sega genesis game. It doesn't seem like a remake. Why is it on the wii??????

Not sure, there have been a lot of sega genesis games available for download on the Wii.

That's the whole point of the Virtual Console section in the Wii Shop Channel. Old games are brought bakc to life on the Wii, giving older gamers nostalgia, and newer gamers a look back into the past of gaming.

There's also game gear games on the wii, so nintendo isn't just limited to the games they've made themselves.
