I read an interview in electonic gaming monthly that they have no plans to do an online version because its that fact taht .hack is a simulated online rpg thats what makes it interesting and that the producers have no plans on changing that aspect of the game ect ect ect

The DvD of the first game were G4tv. interviews the creaters of the game. One says they dont wanna create it! I really hope they change there mine.

I am pretty sure that they are going to come out with a online version with this. But not in the near future, maybe they will, but they are going to have to change alot of things on it such as the gate, the maps allowing multiple people in a field, trading, grunties, the money, character creations, i can go on and on forever pointing out what they would need to change to make it online.. Lets just say they need to remake the whole thing.

Yeah, I guess they would have to change an awful lot...The maps not so much as the trading...They would also need a more powerful system! Even the PS2 Couldn't hold 5 servers with limitless areas....
There are a lot of boundries i suppose, but wouldn't it be awesome!?

Rykani is right! In every booklet that comes with the .Hack series, there is a "BANDAI AMERICA QUESTIONNAIRE" at the back of the booklet. I don't have .Hack//Quarantine yet, but question 21 in the .Hack//Mutation booklet asks: "Would you purchase an online version of .Hack? __Yes __No." HELLZ YES!

Well they could always just make the game and then call it "The World" because the real name of the online game was "The World" not .hack but that's just me.

yes true,but then it would offend one of the creators if they didn't play a role in the making of the online version,so they realy couldn't call it "the world"
cause they would have to put the whole team back,And I know some one would sue.

nani nani? can you get more than one on there? I want one but i JUST got my 3rd one and had to nag the hell out of my dad to get it...then i stole his PS2 im afraid to ask him 4 anything else...
