Yeah, though I suppose without data protection he might have a run for his money to avoid being killed by some of his friends...I mean, its almost like using the DD as a crutch, without it, he can't compete as well -_-

I mean, without he is just a regular (albiet high leveled) character, and no regular character is a match against a DD capable monster...I mean, look at what happened to Sora??

NO ONE in .hack could beat Skeith without the bracelet... or without the ability to rewrite game data.
If Sora tried it, he'd go down even faster. Because Kite at least has a degree of protection, thanks to Aura. He can't be deleted or put into a coma.
But Sora would be. Oh wait. Sora can't do anything. Because Sora got BITCHED AROUND and turned into Skeith's wand...

Balmung I admit is strong, but not my favourite character ;; He just doesn't have an attitude I like (I like him better in the Legend Manga)..

I really choose characters now based on how much I like them because they are all pretty much max level, unless I'm going to a really high level dungeon ;; In which case I take Helba, and another physical attack character like Sora

When you meet the Data Bugged HeadHunter in Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground he says the HPs are infinite.

Its as the dood says, databugs HP IS infinite....if you hit them enough times, you can 'protect break' them to use DD to make them regular monsters....but otherwise, databugs HP is displayed ing gibbrish characters...yes, the characters change, but HP doesn't go down...because they don't USE hp really, just those symbols which basically makes their HP infinite -_-

I once tried fighting a data bug without data draining. I got its life bar down like halfway, then I just got sick of it.

When did this thread change from "which character would you be" to "this character pwns all!"

Well whatever, but you know... despite the fact I am a Balmung fan all the way, I have to say that Helba would beat everyone into the ground if she so choosed.
