Post all battle tactics here. If you have found an easy way to defeat a particular enemy, post it here for all to see.

My first Tactic is regarding the Minitaurs in the Onyx Tower, and on route to the Onyx Tower. They are VERY powerful, so it is best not to get in front of them, but when they do attack, that is their downfall. When they try to hit you, it takes them a few seconds to recover. Use this oppotunity to go beside them, and hit them with a combo. I usually get 3 or 4 hits in easily. Do this twice for each Minitaur, and you won't even get hit by them.

My second Tactic is for the GOLD STATUES in the Onyx Tower. I find that when they blow the poison breath, that is the best time to strike. I get close enough to make them spray the poison, then then as they do so, I turn around, at a safe distance, and I blast them with Melf's Acid Arrows. This seems to be the best way, and it takes 11-12 arrows at level 3 arrows to kill them.

To kill the Gold Statues with the dwarf use Bull Rush before they try to posion you to get up close and personal real quick

Regarding rats: hit from the side
monkeys: hit from the side
spiders: let them attack, them go for their behind
big spider: let him hit you, i know it sounds stupid, but then go behind and you should be able to get 4 or 5 good hits. You can let them TRY and attack you, it does the same effect.
Globs: I hate these things, go up and smash em
blue cubes: run circles around it, kill it! and collect the goodies
Yetties: Deke out their ice blocks, its funny! and then slash em
ogres: come in close, get 2 wacks, go to side and kill them!
forest giant(ice caves): go behind and nail them
Disappearing jags(ice caves): Just slash everywhere, they dont do alot of damage!

Bosses
Minotaur in sewers: Kil the monkeys one by one. Walk in close, let him slash, duck. go behind and keep circling and slashing.

Karne: Go behind him, aviod his darts or knives. Just slash his back

Xantam: aviod the fire trails, hit him in the side numerous times

ice dragon: Aviod blocks of ice from the sky, aviod the ice breathe. Go towards his side, get two hits, then move back from his jump. Hit again and run..continue this process

Girl in mines: lol, watch out for the magic!

Golems in onyx tower: let them breathe poison, go to the side and slash 2-4 times, keep circling, and slashing.

Gargoyles: ARH! annoying? yes! slash and circle

Twirling golems: go to the side and when he "rusts" nail him

Black knights: go in close, let them use the spear, dodge, and then go to the behind and keep circling

Big ass silver guy with onyx sword: Attck at side and circle, collect sword

Ending girl: Watch out for the damn flying sword. Kill her from the side, and move away when she grows..good time to fire arrows. do until shes dead.

General Tactics
-At the beginning, your character is weak. Do not sell off clothing or armor.
-Collect everything, smash every barrel except gun powdered ones (they say ignite).
-Dont forget to pick up all cash, and weapons. Even if you have it. its worth money.
-Upgrade armor first, your character is weak. I personally dont do this, but im stupid lol jk. Buy a good sword at the start, then buy armor.
-Use experiance to your advantage
-Circle and slash, i cant stress this enough, its easy to kill so many monsters with this tactic
-Fire swords are good, flamming is better. It sets the sword on fire when an enemy is near. It does good damage
-Ice swords are good aswell, its fun to see the enemy explode into shattered ice!
-Shocking is by far the best, it shocks them, even the big ass silver guy at the end!

if you can get 2 players, the best tactic for any enemy is to get one person to go into the room with the enemy and start running in circles so they wont get hit, then the othe player will stand outside the door shoting projectles at the enemy, the only problem is that the runner doesnt get as much of the experiance as the shooter

are there any tactics for defeating the orb in the crypt level 2? my weapons don't have any effect on it and i kill wave after wave of the dead things it keeps raising! please help!

Here is how I took out the Drow Mage (female) in the mines:

I'm playing a sorceress-
1) I loaded up on health and rejuvination potions then recalled to the mines and dropped a bunch of each in a couple of piles prior to entering the large area that triggers the boss battle. Spread them out a little so they don't disappear.

2) Recall back to town and max out on health and rejuvination potions again. then recall back to the mines and begin the battle.

3) When the battle starts I started slinging Magic Missiles to take care of her (it stops her from casting) or any undead she summons. WATCH OUT for the guy with the armor and sword 1 or 2 hits and you are dead. Stay towards where you entered the cave and don't commit to the center of the room. When she Blinks (teleports) near you wack the hell out of here with your sword. The magic missiles do not do much damage to her but they do prevent her from teleporting away. So mix some in. During the battle drink health and rejuvination potions as needed KEEP AN EYE ON THE LEVELS.

4) When you feel you are running low run back to the dropped piles of potions and restock.

5) Repeat until she is dead.

invincible cheat !!!!!!!!!!!!! did no1 think of that
