It can be. It's extremely fast and some of the racers can be a pain. But it's enjoyable, it's a challenge, although don't expect to be winning every time the first time round - I think it's one of the best racers on the Gamecube.

It can be quite tedious to start with. And it will take a while to progress through the cups. The story mode isn't without it's difficulty either. But it's a stunning game, and definantly worth buying if you can find a cheap copy.
