Not sure how many people noticed this or not. Usually when a game is announced, controls have been included already and very few details are left.

HOWEVER, on the official Nintendo page, by the "No of Players" there is a nice little "To be determined" note.

Do you think this means that multiplayer is an option. Two month still remain before the North American release so it could definitely be viable. I would like it at least.

Since MP2 is part of the Trilogy, there's still going to be its multiplayer mode. I would hate it if they took that out. If they keep MP2's multiplayer mode, it would be cool if they added new weapons and maps based on the other 2 Primes.

I never knew about Echoes having a multi player, I only got the demo and briefly rented it.

Was it just console play or online somehow?

Originally MP2 multiplayer was obviously console play because it was on the GC. But adding online multiplayer to it would be awesome. They should also add some more game types, like there are in Hunters.

I was definitely expecting the addition of online multiplayer to this release. They could have added maps to represent Prime 1 and 3 and come up with a balanced game play system. Would have made the game amazing!

Well, the Echoes multiplayer with the wii controls is pretty good already. It's nowhere near some of the better multiplayer games out there, but MP's strong point isn't multiplayer anyways.
