When you pre-order this game at gamestop, you get a free t-shirt & a poster. Seems like decent gifts since they're free anyways, you can find out more about the gifts here.

Hell yeah. I don't know if it's just me, but I like Metroid 1st person rather than 2D

I didn't know about the pre-order gifts but the game comes in a steelbook case which makes it much more of a collector's edition in my opinion. There is also a small insert with previously unreleased concept art and some back story!
