I don't really play Fifa that much, but my friend who has it says that Didier Drogba is completely over powered in '09 and '10, is this true and why?

no he isnt. if he was overpowered then it would be completely wrong to real life, however its almost spot on, he is strong and has alot of power. but as in real life he isnt very quick. if your friend plays as chelsea with anelka and drogba upfront then the reason he thinks drogba is OP is becuase anelka is underrated imo.

I play chelsea in the neo fifa league and I find Drogba really lethargic to control.

Just as he didn't say he is slow, he said he isn't very quick.

I can't believe I'm being told I'm not smart by someone who refers to themselves as 'i' . I think you're the one who isn't very smart, notice 'you're' not 'your'. You obviously know nothing about Drogba, and I am not going to waste my time talking to someone as ignorant as yourself. I said pace was among his best assets, nowhere did I say it was his best asset, Drogba, like most African players is very fast, and combined with his strength, make him almost unstoppable on his day. You clearly lack any sort of footballing knowledge. Please don't waste your time by replying to this as I am taking no further part in this argument,

I will reply to that even if you don't want me to. You said pace, strength and aerial ability are his best assets. I said he isn't very quick and it isn't one of his best assets/qualities.

we have a difference in opinion you think he is fast, i think he isn't fast(note I've not once said he is slow..) and he has qualities better then his pace.

All in all, you haven't contributed to the OP and it has gone miles off topic. I am sure this will be closed once a mod has read it.

I have to agree with vandeach, Drogba is fast.

It certainly isn't his best asset I mean he must be one of if not the strongest striker in the league and phenomenal in the air. Ok he isn't a speed demon like Defoe, Bent or Torres but he's still fast.

That's besides the point, he never said he wasn't slow. He just said he wasn't that fast. Which is true. He can outstrengthen players thus get past them, but that doesn't make him quick.

The only time I've seen real pace from him was when he outran Coruluka for Chelsea's third goal.
