Gotta agree with him - Raiden's chest kinda looks like that of the 2007 Starscream's chest.

But anyway, it obviously looks different from what he wore at MGS4; it could even be a prototype. Remember how Black Ninja from MG1 said that he gone under a NASA Extraterrestial Force project? What if Raiden was the next test subject for it? That could be the proof to the new fancy cyber suit, however we still need confirmation from the Konami staff for that.

Well, Raiden's reputation increased in MGS4 as he was now a cyber ninja, plus a more manly attitude.

Yet the only feminine thing on Raiden's attire are his high-heel boots. Male FROG prototype maybe?

I could live with another port of the first one, the Twin Snakes looks good, but not nearly as good as a PS3 remake would.

I liked Raiden, even in MGS2, i just didn't like him compared to Snake.

Yeah I didn't really like him in MGS2 but after seeing him in MGS4 I really started to dig him as a character. The whole ninja concept is pretty cool and I think it's nice that they made him look like a man instead of a little scrawny boy like he was in MGS2.

Correct me if I'm wrong but that image looks to me as if he's gone Raziel and doesn't have a bottom jaw, looks like he's got some Terminator shit going on with a metallic replacement. It looks way too thin in comparison to the rest of his face to be a piece of armour over that area.

eh, i can deal with it, even if he does look like the product of a swiss army knife running head-on into a toaster.

it takes place between 2 and 4 so it'd make sense that he's a clunkier, beta-version of himself in mgs4. perhaps that clunkiness will mean he can't really do all the insane stuff he did in 4, forcing you to play a more mgs2-styled raiden, except with a sword, knives, etc.

i bet we'll see him learning to be a scout and what not.

I really don't think this is Raiden, nor do I think its Gray Fox. I really believe that it could be Sunny!

I mean, its not like it isn't possible. Who was Sunny's mother? Olga. Olga donned the ninja suit in MGS2. In MGS4, Sunny was very determined to find details on her mother in MGS4 and it could be possible that she struck some details. Maybe she wanted to follow in the footsteps of her mother or something.

The face of the person in this image seems very feminine. And though Raiden's appearance wasn't exactly the most masculine, I really don't think this is him. Check out a picture of him donning the suit from MGS4. It doesn't look exactly like Raiden much when you compare them. Besides, as far as eye color goes, Sunny had brown eyes as well.

And besides, we should've learned by now that the MGS series is always throwing us through loops. Wouldn't they want us to think its Raiden? Besides, it'd be nice to see a badass female character take the stage.

Considering the fact that they were articulated allowing him to grip a blade, are you really going to criticize? I took from it that "high heels" as you call them are dangerous. Stilettos are called stilettos for a reason.

Considering the way he was using him to drive blades into Vamp's chest, i didn't think there was anything particularly feminine about them.

Agreed. I guess that truly made them into stiletto heels then.

He has 2 screws on his forehead and a bar code imprinted on the center of his for head (the screw are on the left of the bar code) He would look totally awesome if those 2 things were removed from his design.
