i think the next game may be good but , after rising i think we should go into a period before mgs4 and mgs3 90's coz i don't think mgs will last without snake

I still think they should remake the original Metal Gear games on either the PSP or on the PS3/360. Most if not all the people who play the games have never played those two, and they are extremely important to the story.

yh , i never played the full game i had it on demo (well my big bro did) but mgs will not carry on as raiden if snake doesn't show up in each of his games , and a new story , characters would ruin the saga

Snake can't really show up in this game, unless it is set after MGS4.

Big Boss is not in MGS2 that was Solid Snake. Also Kojima has stated that there won't be any more Solid Snake games. I think the Metal Gear saga should take itself back to nothing and start over with a new cast and new setting.

I think it would be great for the series to continue, as long as the underlining philosophies and messages stay in tact than the series is pretty much endless regardless of the characters.

But as the series progresses, I'd love to see a remake of MG1/2, these days they can add more depth to them that early technology couldn't have. I'd also love to see a game involving the Boss before she was the Boss.

With the timeline in tact (the download-able one on the PS3), the possibilities of making infinite games before MGS1, 2, 3, and 4 are endless. A lot of games can be made explaining a character's background more and living the moments yourself. The Metal Gear series is brilliant thanks to the Kojima team doing a fantastic job linking up characters to each game.

I always thought Metal Gear SOLID was for Solid Snakes games, although you could argue Raiden was given Solid Snake as a code name.....
