I think the best parts for the Holly are: HLHover legs, some sort of non-ammunition weapon, M2021Gatling, and the Canon/HM10
Aeron: Hover legs, Knuckles, and a fast shooting gun.
Poton: 2Legs, Heavy Sniper rifle, non-recoil rifle, and the gauntlet (I know it sucks, but it looks cool!)

I have a Photon with one Lvl 99 light Red Lotus and one Lvl 99 Heavy Heavy Sniper Rifle. It works great, and can take out any area ranker in less than 6 shots, and most of the enemies in the game in 2 shots or even 1 shot. Red Lotus completely gids rid of Optic Cam problems.

Since I like Holy the best, I think that the best non ammo weapon is the Penetrate Estruk. The thing is awesome. Also, it always helps to have a grenade launcher to reveal nearby enemies. As for a gun, just choose a reliable shooter and you should be ok. The other shoulder weapon should be a multiple homing missile launcher, I think the one on mine is called Meteor or something.
I don't sound like someone who rented the game 2 weeks ago, do I?

If you have a Photon, then I think the best way to reveal enemies is with a non-recoil cannon. Whenever I go up against low-rankers especially, I equip my 6-Leg type with a Bazooka, a Triple-FIre ASVM, and two Non-Recoil Cannons. It works great and kills most enemies with just one shot. I would change to other legs, but that would probably put the Scoobee overweight. A constant problem for me.
